> 3 dayIt really does cool well. I work outside doing very active manual labor and it REALLY helps a lot, Id estimate it cuts down how much i sweat by about 75%. The battery life is good on fan only mode, i have no doubt it would last all day... But even on the low cooling mode Im getting about 4-5 hours of use. Which honestly is still great, but removable batteries wouldve really taken this to the next level. Being able to swap batteries would be great since its not possible for me to charge since Im constantly moving. Though i might get a power bank and see if I can tolerate the cord leading to my neck from my pocket.

> 3 dayIve had a few neck fans over the years, but never one like this that has cooling (and heating) plates built-in. This is a very cool neck-conditioner...I tried the heat function out of curiosity, although its April and not cold out, and find that the heat feature does not seem to be as robust as the cooling feature -- that is, the highest heat setting does not feel proportionally strong vs. how frosty this gets on the coldest cold setting. While I do feel that any amount of heat would be welcome in late fall & winter, the shining star seems to be the A/C plates, and living in the Deep South (where its varying degrees of hot for about 9 months of the year: you have hot, blazing hot, and fry-an-egg-on-the-blacktop hot), thats just fine with me! Theyre not kidding when they say it has a fast intensive cooling; within seconds this thing is feeling frosty. The fan, especially on the highest level, is loud with it right near your ears. It can be hard to hear external sounds when its running, although I dont know what -- if anything -- can be done about this. Its the same story with other (non-A/C) neck fans that I own, so it just comes with the territory of a neck fan. Battery life seems really good, although I can only hope that it doesnt degrade (lose storage capacity in a significant manner) over too short of a period of time. All batteries lose some after so many charges -- your phone, laptop computer, anything with a built-in battery will eventually hit a point where even when fully charged, it depletes faster than it used to. Only time will tell, but I hope that doesnt start happening before at least a couple hundred charging cycles (if not more...fingers crossed) have taken place. There are a couple of little instruction booklets & an extended warranty QR code located in the oval-shaped piece that includes the charging cable, so keep an eye out for that. The instructions, specifically warnings, are sometimes humorous. Like my favorite warning, found in Attentions: Article 14, Section G, which warns you to not use it near the heart of the human body. All this comes in a cool semi-hard oval donut zippered storage case, which is really convenient for storing or transporting. I only wish they hadnt made it a donut shape, because I find the cord hard to store inside there as well. Its possible, but takes fairly accurate precision to get it to fit along with the neck fan itself. Had they made it just a round case (without a hole in the center, like a donut), that filled-in center portion would be perfect for storing the cord without having to feng shui it. Overall, this thing SMASHES my regular ol neck fans -- its not even close. Id highly recommend this, particularly if youre like me and live in a mostly sweltering climate for much of the year.

> 3 dayWhen Florida vacation bound during the summer- staying cool is a necessity. My husband ordered his fan about a week before I ordered mine. I tried his on and immediately placed an order for another one. As someone who overheats easily, this is ridiculously amazing. With a battery life that stood up to hours on high at the theme parks I cannot recommend this enough!

> 3 dayI ordered one of these for an extensive review while on vacation. The first unit I received looked to be a used product. When working with customer service via email, the part where it plugs in to charge was expanded quite a bit and much larger than the other side. They mailed out a replacement device quickly and Ive since purchased three more. They all work great and the family enjoys them!

> 3 dayOk, as 40 year old guy that personally is always running hot; this device is awesome! I work in an office setting, except we never sit down all day. The office has air conditioning, but we have no access to the controls and over half of the team members run absolutely freezing. Even when it is blazing hot from summer. So my desk fans were a bother, as my coworkers are walking around. The collar will shut off at 10% battery. I can get 10 hours on medium fan. Not sure about max fan, since medium is gives me plenty of cooling. Max air conditioning I can get 60-90 minutes. Realistically, I do not need to use max a/c for any longer than 10 minutes to cooldown from extremely hot. I usually use low or medium a/c for 10 minutes at a time and switch back to fan mode to help extend the battery. I have not really used the heat mode. I can say thus, when others change my settings to heat on my phone, the heat is instant. The a/c takes 1-2 minutes to reach desired coolness. I love the fact I can plug it into the USB cable when the battery is low can continue to use the fan or a/c mode. Also, my house does not a/c. The main living area got to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius) on the first weekend I had it and I was comfortable the while time. This device is probably the best thing you can get yourself or your partner, if hot flashes are controlling your life.
