Greater than one weekI was happy with my umbrella until the 3rd time I used it on a down pour type of day. I started to feel drops going down my head. Used it again on not so heavy rain and was fine. Yet the umbrella started to leak again on heavy rain type of day walking up a NYC block

> 3 dayI chose this umbrella for my young daughter for back to school. Like seemingly all five-year-old girls, she likes rainbow colors. I like that this colorful little rainbow is easy to spot, and easy enough for her to open and close on her own. It’s a good basic umbrella, just what you expect from totes. The mechanics are good and fluid, but it’s not particularly rugged, and we’ll see how it stands up to the Kansas wind. As we are in a drought, I can’t vouch for the NeverWet yet, but it does offer a great sun protection, And since she loves the way it looks, my daughter is actually easy eager to use it in the sun. It’s fairly small, big enough for one person only, but that makes it perfect for a child. The compact size is great for a backpack, purse, or car seat pocket. I really like that the velcro band used to secure it is so wide. That’s a nice design touch that also makes it store compactly and eliminates the need for a sleeve, which inevitably gets lost immediately anyway.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty good umbrella by Totes. It opens and closes quite easily and I like the compactness of it. It will easily fit in bags and is a nice umbrella to keep in a car or take on a trip. Of course, because it is compact, it is smaller than the usual umbrella. Pretty good product for what it is.
