I haven’t used it yet, but it looks just like what I wanted to replace an old duffle that had ripped after years of use. This one is a little heavier than my old one but should stand up better. I like the extra pockets. Also it’s expansion capability. We will see how well it does.

When I travel, I don’t see the need to take a lot of “stuff” with me. I have wanted a bag like this to handle just what I need without me needing to use a bulky suitcase. This bag is durable, just the right size, lightweight but strong. Just what I have been looking for.

If you would like the convenience and flexibility of a duffle-style travel bag, but you want something more durable and not as cheap looking as the ballistic nylon ones, this could be your solution. I particularly like the extra pockets. Where bags like this normally just have one pocket on each end and one on the side, this one a total of five pockets on the outside - each end, two on one side, one on the other. Plus there are a couple of open pockets on the inside,and one zippered on the inside. The expandable area on the sides helps the flexibility. Zipped up, this will fit in the overhead of just about any airline. Expanded, its still okay for larger overhead compartments. With all that, its still not too heavy. This is now my go to bag for short trips of a day or two. I also use it as a supplementary bag on longer trips, letting it ride on a piece of wheeled luggage. The zippers seem better quality than the usual canvas bags. The handles are sturdy too.

Great bag, but I dont like rating a duffel bag on sturdiness with a 5 star system. In the event of a zombie apocalypse would your first thought be to jam a door with a duffel bag or would you pick almost anything else? A duffel bag is not sturdy by definition unless they mean durability, in which case - why have durability as another category? Merriam-Webster definition: a soft oblong bag for personal belongings Even the sturdiest duffel bag can only aspire to be sturdy. It looks upon other types of bags with wonder, hope and sometimes jealousy at their superior sturdiness. You get 4 stars for sturdiness - *at best* - duffel bag. I give you 3. Why? Because there must be a sturdier duffel bag out there. It is a 5 star bag and might even be my favorite bag of all time. It has 5 star durability and is a 5 star bag for traveling but it is a 3 star bag in sturdiness because it is made of cloth and collapses. You should buy the bag if you like the looks of it because the quality of the zippers and the bag itself are amazing. I beat the hell out of it and it looks the same as when I bought it. Just dont buy it to stand on to reach anything high up.

This duffel bag has good space, is sturdy and the zippers seem well made. I bought this bag to hold a couple smaller bags so that I don’t have some many in my hands or on my shoulders when traveling. Works great

This Toupons Canvas Duffel Bag Small Carry-on Bag is just what you need for short trips, or as a carry-on. It is roomy enough to put everything in 1 bag. When we fly, we never trust the airlines to have all our luggage at our destination. So we carry the essentials. A full change of clothes for each of us, and a small amount of toiletries. Comb/Brush, lotion, toothbrush, etc. Along with our electronic devices and the accessories that go with them. There is 1 main compartment with 1 zipper pocket in the back and 2 pockets for keeping things upright or readily available. There are 2 large zippered outside pockets (one on each end), a smaller outside pocket in the front with a 2 zippers, and a zip up pocket in the back for thin items. The main compartment has 1 zipper on each end for expansion. I am pretty sure this bag is carry-on compatible when fully expanded. At least on some airlines, as they all have different rules. This is NOT just for men. It is a great bag for an overnight trip. My whole toiletry bag fits in (and I have a fairly large one) along with a few changes of clothes, and my electronics bag. I spent quite some time reviewing my options before making this purchase and I am exceedingly happy with this bag. With the sides expanded, this is quite a large bag, and even without them expanded there is ample space. This could potentially hold enough clothes and supplies for a weeks trip if you packed right. As an overnight bag its fantastic, I could bring whatever I wanted to in it, and there are multiple spaces to stay organized. The quality seems fantastic, and while I havent had this bag for long; I expect Ill be using this bag for years to come.

This is a really lovely bag so far. I’ll be using it this weekend to fly. I’ll provide an update if there’s anything that needs to be said. So far just off aesthetics and initial impressions, I love it and it feels great. Update: I am leaving this at 5-stars. It is the perfect carryon for any flight even if you fill it to the max. Ill be traveling with this solely as traveling with this mitigates the need for a backpack. I was easily able to pack 2 pairs of jeans, 5 pairs of socks and boxer briefs, a dress shirt, a thick sweater, 4 shirts, and one pair of running shoes along with my deodorant and other hygienic items. Also, was able to fit my portable charger and laptop in it. and it didnt feel like the material would compromise
