Easy to install, works with iPhone app. Can’t get it to work with Alexa- but the app works great. Wonderful if you have a plug that you can’t get to easy and you want to turn items on and off easily. Recommended

Set up the device in a minute and it works with my Echo perfectly. For people who need a smart plug with reasonable price, this is definitely the right choice.

Using it in my father-in-laws dining room to turn 2 lamps on using the schedule function. He usually uses those horrible plug in times with the wheel and all the buttons. This is much easier and I have heard no complaints. Havent even had to hook it up to his Alexa, because the timer function in the app works so well.

Works great, easy to set up. But occasionally will lose connection.

These little plugs are the best! They are easy to set up and integration with Alexa is simple. I tried other brands but the Tapo outshines those by a mile. Sometimes they lose connection (thats bound to happen), and if the plug need to be completely reset (in the app) and reinstalled, you have a choice of keeping the previous settings or programming new ones. Only one glitch; if the plug does need to be reinstalled and is being used with a smart device, like Echo, for example, and is in a group, then the plug will need to be added to the group again. For example: you have a group called office and a group called all on, but you had to reset the lights plug. After resetting it, you would need to tell your Echo to add lights to the all on group and add lights to the office group.

Seemless integration with Alexa. We use these for the lamps in our home.

I got this device to reduce the run-time of my inefficient refrigerator. I let the device track the run-time hours of my fridge (~20 hours per day) and then easily programmed it to reduce my total run-time per day by a few hours. I turn it off from 2-3AM, 4-5AM, and 11AM-12PM. This will save me about $75 per year on my electric bill, so the initial cost is well worth it.
