Travelpro Platinum Elite 50-Inch Rolling Garment Bag, Shadow Black

This is the ultimate garment back! Purchased for cruise travel. Holds a large amount of formal wear, dresses, shoes. Awesome bag!

So, I purchased this bag in advance of a trip that I had scheduled a few months later. When I finally pulled the bag out to use it, one of the clips wouldnt lock. With the 30-day Amazon return policy having expired, I thought No problem. They have a lifetime warranty. I will just have it fixed, right? Unfortunately wrong. I contacted TravelPro which directed me to the nearest repair center. The day after I dropped it off, the repair center called to say that TravelPro doesnt have the part in stock (what?) and, therefore, it is NOT under warranty (again, what??). They would be happy to fix it, but their clip will not match and it will cost me $48!!! Words of wisdom. Get this bag out when you receive it and give it a fine-tooth combing but, more importantly, do NOT be fooled by the so called warranty. The fact that they dont even have those clips in stock (probably an item that costs less than a dollar), means they likely dont have many parts in stock. And why wont TravelPro pay for the repair?? UPDATE: TravelPro has since stopped taking phone calls for customer support. Everything is email or live chat, to which they dont respond to either.

This is a high-quality, durable, sturdy bag. I love to bring my clothes on hangers so all I have to do to unpack is pull my clothes out of the bag and hang them in the closet. I’ve been traveling that way for years, but regular suitcases will wrinkle the bottom of the clothes. Not so with this bag. The bag is made for packing with hangers. The hanger items stay in place and there is ample room for them to fold properly so no wrinkles. The bag also has multiple inside clear or mesh compartments for packing items you can’t hang. The bag has two wheels that roll smoothly. I wish the bag had four wheels because it would be easier for me, but it does tilt in such a way that the weight is distributed well, and doesn’t stress my back. I plan to use this bag for my next international trip.

Zipper broke on first trip

so i received this garment bag yesterday and i have to say it looks like very good quality. I love the lockdowns for the corner zippers on top and also the way it locks the zippers themselves. I will come back and review more once i use it.

I looked at competitors versions and I decided to spend more on this one because of the high quality construction and warranty. I dont regret it. Ive been on two international trips and its been outstanding!

I received this luggage, I need to know how to unlock. It is on 000 and does not open, please I need help.

I bought this last minute when I realized that I needed a piece of luggage to bring to my sons wedding and noticed that the one I had was not going to make it (too small). This luggage is high quality and can hold a ton of clothes. You can use the hanging feature on both sides of this luggage which increases its capacity to double! It does not stand on its own so I just had everything prepared in the closet and loaded it into the luggage at the last minute; everything else was already packed. So it really did not create a problem for me. I didnt have any problems with the zippers; you need to make sure everything is lined up properly. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars was that this luggage should have 4 wheels. It gets very heavy and can be hard to get around corners with only 2 wheels. Otherwise, Im very happy with this purchase.
