I’d like it because it’s exactly what I needed for a plug-in with remote control. I just couldn’t figure out how to use Alexa on it with my phone because I’m too old!

Bought this for my classroom set of string lights after reading a review by another teacher. The app used by the dimmer switch is compatible with Alexa, which is a cool feature. It was a bit tricky to set up as you must use a 3G network to connect to the app... and our school does not have that option. Took it home and was able to switch my phone to our 3G network, then find the dimmer switch through the app and connect it. Once that was done, the switch worked at school just fine wirelessly with my phone no matter which network I used. Initially had some trouble getting it connected to the app and contacted their support team, who was very responsive and helpful. All in all, the steps are fairly easy to follow but for anyone who is relatively unfamiliar with connecting wireless devices that are incompatible with 5G networks, it may end up feeling frustrating. I can just picture my parents losing their minds trying to figure out what in the world to do. The app coincidentally connected with my daughters LED lights so now she can use Alexa to turn them off and on...something Id not really thought to take time to do beforehand.

This product works as intended

My outdoor fountain flow rate was strictly a manual and difficult operation. While this dimmer is made for lights, I can tell you that it works great to control the flow rate using my phone, instead of digging in the rocks for the valve.

We installed some string lights on our patio a while back, which we love, but since we also sometimes use the patio for an outdoor movie theater the lights were always a bit too bright. We had searched for a wall switch dimmer but the one that we would have needed for our setup would have been extremely expensive, and would not work for our incandescent lights. The Treatlive Outdoor Dimmer was our solution! It made it extremely easy to use as we didnt have to change out the wall switch inside our home, just plug it into the outlet and the lights into that, and you are ready to go! Since it is weatherproof it makes it nice as it is outside at all times ( as the outlet is near the roofline, it is not easy to remove ). Now we can easily dim the lights for the movies or turn them up to full brightness when we need the area well lit. It is great! The Treatlife app was simple to download and install and had it working in just a few minutes. We connected it to our Alexa devices so we can now just say Turn on the Patio Lights and it works! The dimming feature works really well with these lights as it does dim them very low if needed. We can now enjoy our patio lights...and the movies at the same time! We would highly recommend

I had this dimmer on my patio. It worked well for about 9 months then the dimmer feature quit working . Treat life accepted responsibility and sent me a new one that works great . I was very happy with their quick response

Paired this with bright tech outdoor lights. The app also n this thing is super user friendly and I couldn’t imagine having anything else. This thing is tough and has been in our enclosed back porch for a year with absolutely no issues. It had a lot of use over the summer months and can’t wait to use it again!

So I had this Treatlife Smart Dimmer plug for a few weeks, controlling my outdoor patio lights. Synced very fast with Alexa and life was good. Then one day it stopped working, the light turned on once and then off. So I tried a hailmary and reached out to the seller. Guess what they shipped a replacement two days after I emailed them. Now thats service and just like before quick and easy sync with Alexa and now we have smart lights once again on the patio. Great item and even better seller.

Worked very well in the beginning. Dimmed an outdoor string of bulbs and provided good control through the app and Alexa. Good wifi coverage. Ive had other plugs that wouldnt get wifi in the same location. This one works well. But after 4 months, it just wont turn on. I suspect, after reading other reviews, that its the water issue being IP44. It was under an awning, but somewhat exposed to the elements. Weve had some heavy rain as well. Other plugs Ive had are at least IP64. Ill look for that in the future. But for the price, not a bad little dimmer option.

Overall, the Treatlife remote plug was easy to install and use for remote control of outdoor lights in my backyard. After having the unit for nearly two years, I noticed that the button on the unit to turn lights ON/OFF/Dim was not working. The plug was still controllable via the cell phone app. I sent an email to Treatlife to see if there was maybe a firmware or other way to reset the light. Treatlife responded to the email within a day, ask for some purchase information to check warranty, and ended up sending me a replacement unit because it was a month within the two year warranty. Totally unexpected, but grateful for a company with excellent customer service.
