Tropical Shine Coarse Black Colossal Nail File

I originally purchased this brand of nail file at Sally Beauty, but I moved away from the one that was close to me, and thought I would just try Amazon. It was exactly the same, and what I needed. I used this for the dip powder nails I do at home, and it is perfect.

It does a good job of filing my nails.

I use it to file my toe nails and then run a smoothe file over them. Works for me as I have trouble bending

I purchased this for my mother, then my husband, when I saw how well it smoothed down their toenails. Especially on the nails that have the thick fungal growth. It’s basically a coarse grade of sandpaper that’s shaped and compressed into an easy-to-handle nail file. And what’s really great is you can wash it and disinfect it! I typically hold it under hot water after each use (I wouldn’t advise soaking it), then I pat it dry, spray it with a disinfectant that’s safe for your skin, and pat it dry again; then set out to air dry. Not sure how long it will last, but it beats a trip to the podiatrist just to have my Mom’s nails “sanded” down to take the rough, jagged edges off.
