I bought this for a trip to use on my familys luggage before boarding the airplane. They were small enough to fit through the smallest hole in the zipper tab and seemed secure. I like the fact that they same key could be used on all 4 locks.

This lock broke in transit while flying. The key and mechanism look reliable but the gauge of the locking bar is somewhat slender. I used two of these locks on a gun case which could accept up to 1/4 inch locks. Although these locks were a recommended TSA approved product for the case I bought, they seemed somewhat lightweight considering the worth of what was in the case. The TSA did inspect the contents and left their inspection notice. I did expect that and presumably they have these keys. However one of the locks was broken and bent on arrival. It looked as if it might have taken a hard hit while being transported. In the end they did their job. But it was disappointing and not to surprising to see this lightweight lock broken. I would have preferred a heavier gauge TSA approved lock.

If your buying for a gun case to travel these are too small and are not long enough to lock on a Pelican case. Plus they are small. Bought 4 and I have no use for them. Its a nice little lock for you travel bag. Bummed but that was my fault. Read the reviews and assumed they would work.

Love these. I had originally ordered ones with a combo lock and they never worked right. I love having the little key, it always works and its super convenient
