The grip is very good and the color is nice (even the metal is pink, which you cannot see from the picture) but those are the only saving graces. I bought 2 of these (3.5 mm, 4 mm) to try before purchasing the whole set. Im glad I did because these hooks do not glide smoothly through yarn like the original Etimos do. The hooks themselves honestly work no better than Boye hooks. For the price, the advantages of the grip and color just arent worth it. If you are considering a full set of these hooks, I recommend you buy 1 to try first before spending $90 on the set. Im going to purchase a full set of the original Etimos instead of the Etimo Rose.

Im fairly new to crochet, but I ALWAYS use my Tulip Etimo hooks! They run through the yarn like butter, and are very light and comfortable to hold. Great quality for the money!!

literally own every size in the etimo family. They are my favorite and most comfortable hooks, anyone who crochets mindlessly for hours these are worth the investment. My hands do not feel as tired, and I don’t get sore spots on certain fingers as I do with plastic or metal. Can not recommend enough
