> 24 hourI purchased orange and teal tie dye and I don’t feel like the orange came out as vibrant or as orange as I would have liked ☹️ In person, it looks more red/pink to me (of course not as red as actual red tie dye—see picture for comparison). Also, there are splotchy “dots” of dye all throughout the orange (but not the teal). I feel I mixed both colors very well, shaking the bottles for several minutes until it looked like there were no clumps left. This is the first time I’ve used Tulip brand and I’ve never had this happen with other brands I’ve used. For the price I paid vs. what I could get at Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart, I think this should have turned out better. I would probably not purchase this particular tie dye again (at least not the orange color). For reference: I washed the shirt in my washing machine before, did a “wet” dye technique (dyeing the shirt while it was damp from the washer), let it sit for about 16 hours in a plastic bag, and then rinsed and laundered the shirt again.

> 24 hourIt’s very easy to use and it’s good true orange like the package says, not red or gold

> 24 hourUse this all the time for my tiedye needs. I personally pour the dye into the bottle instead of letting it disintegrate because unless the water is boiling hot it will leave clumps that get stuck in the head of the squirt bottles.

> 24 hourPerfect color! Packets say to add water and shake but the pouch did not dissolve fully and caused issues with application.

> 24 hourAlthough I think it is overpriced and I wish the refill powder was available in bulk, I love Tulip one step dye because its so simple to use. You dont have to wet the fabric first, you dont have to use soda ash or use a fixative. And the color absorbs well assuming youre using the types of fabric it is intended for.
