> 3 dayBought for my sons birthday party. We had about 12 kids and each child got to make 2 shirts. We still had quite a bit of dye left. It was more than enough for what we needed and there is such a good selection of colors!

Greater than one weekI purchased this kit as a all inclusive project kit. Advertised as a 50 project supply. NOT! I needed two more boxes to have enough for 40 tie dye tee shirts with my Vacation Bible Study group. The product itself provides cheap gloves not sized for childrens use. No aprons provided to help control splatter onto clothes. Thin white plastic table covers were inadequate to cover 8 tables. Only one set of paper how to instructions. Rubber bands were all one size and of limited quantity. Recommend buying lobster bibs, extra rubber bands and child sized gloves if you plan to use this with children. Contents must be used within 45 minutes of mixing per directions. Many undesired colors mixed into total count.

09-04-2025We did 26 shirts for the class party, all turned out great, kids all had fun and can’t wait to wear them. Instruction is clear enough for everyone know how to Dye the shirts. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayShipping took forever and when I finally did receive it- it was only small amounts of powder in the plastic bottles. I was expecting packets of powder and empty bottles. Definitely not worth the money- I could have bought a lot more of the powder for this price and found plastic bottles at the dollar store.

> 3 dayI was very excited to make some tiedye shirts with my youngest. This was very easy to do and we even did it indoors without making a huge mess. It was fun. That said, the colours were beautiful when I first rinsed them out, but upon machine washing them initially I feel they looked faded and old. These were 100% cotton, white t-shirts that had been laundered to remove the sizing. I let them sit in plastic bags in a bright room for over 8 hours and the shirts were still much more faded after washing them than they were after rinsing. That was very disappointing considering how lovely they looked when they were first rinsed. The next time I tie-dye we are going to try some tricks to brighten the dye, such as using dry fabrics instead. Hopefully that will improve my impression of this product.

> 3 dayI bought this kit to tie dye t-shirts during a camp trip for 25 adults. It was alot of fun. Since there were several of us we made an assembly line of the various steps so that we were all experiencing steps together. Definitely wear gloves when you do this and do be careful not to pop the little dye caps off over the table. Several of us had the misfortune to have another person splash their dye color onto our project when they uncapped over the table. Also be sure to wipe the table surface clean after each project so that your shirt doesnt pick up unwanted residual color from a previous project. It seemed as the Tshirts dried, the colors were less vibrant. For myself, I wanted to be sure to see the blaxk printed words on the Tshirt I dyed, so the fact that they got lighter as they dried, was ok by me. We planned to do this on a Friday morning to that the shirts could set and we could rinse them out on Saturday morning and hang to dry before we left the campground on Sunday. Be sure to save your gloves and wear them when you remove the rubber bands and rinse the shirt on the following day. Each shirts unwrapping and reveal was a grand surprise every time. It was an explosion of color, patterns and designs. I would definitely do this again! PS - purple, turquoise, lime green, hot pink were popular colors that ran out first. Good thing there wwre a couple bottles of this color in the kit!
