TurboTax 2014 Premier Investments and Real Estate Federal/State 2014 PC/MAC CD/DVD/Old Version

I have used Turbo Tax for 12 years, and I need to inform other people of the direction that TurboTax is taking. Basically, I can not recommend this product because it is crippled and even constitutes a security risk for me. 1.) After updating the CD Rom software once, the software is no longer useable without a constant internet connection. If you want to work offline, forget it. No chance. Finally I un-installed the update and reinstalled the version on my CD. 2.) After finishing my taxes, I found out that TurboTax 2014 will not let you print anything without a connection to the internet either. In this day and age of computer hacking, I am not going to let any software program with my financial info connect to the internet! My only recourse was to copy all the data by hand to the IRS forms! Finally, as this behavior deviates so strongly from former versions, I will contact the Attorney General in the state of Illinois and complain about the product. Such significant changes and restrictions should be clearly marked for consumers prior to purchase! After requiring me to pay more for a different version to have the same features this year, they then delivered a crippled product... I will go to H&R block next year after 12 years as a TurboTax customer.

I have used Intuit for many years, including last year downloading on a Mac for the first time from the App Store with no problems. 2014 is the WORST ever!!! I dont know if it is Apple or Turbo Tax, but in April of 2015 I purchased Premier through Apples App Store for $94.99. I ended up filing for an extension and noted a problem then - thought maybe I had pulled up the wrong file, but when I went to to file for a tax extension TT acted like I never paid for it and wanted me to pay again. Should have tried to resolve the issue then but it let me file the extension using the free version. Now that it is the EVE of filing after the extension - I get all the way to the end to e-File and I keep getting kicked back to the App Store to pay $119!!! VERY FRUSTRATING. Now I am left to get up at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow to get in touch with Turbo Tax. Ive also filed a report with Apple. I will be looking for another service next year!

Intuit failed miserably. There was a problem with state filing. I will not use it again. They still have not corrected it. Claim someone may have tried to hack into my account. 2 years ago. But there are no answers.has caused delay in my state filing. They are awful to deal with as they mostly ignore attempts to fix it. Have been in touch with their fraud group but no resolution

Had an error with the new healthcare information.

After using premier for many years they now want you to pay extra for the small business section. It wasnt this way in the past.

This item clearly says on the cover that it includes Federal and State tax ability. The item I received only included the Federal. When I attempted to use the State feature, it directed me to a site to purchase the State portion. Federal was fine. Not happy with the fact it was not stated that State had to be purchased separately.
