    Greater than one week

I bought these TWICE and both times within 6 months they were broken. UPDATE: They are sending me a replacement so I am happy with my purchase.

It took me a while to finally hang these lights after I got them, but it was worth the wait. They were fairly easy to unroll and hang up if you follow their directions, and the power cord is very long so that its not to hard to be able to plug them in and also hang them from a tall window. The only thing I would say is that of the eight modes, only two of them are steady with what theyre doing, either always on or a soft fade where half the lights are on at a time. Both of these are nice, but the other six modes are cycling between different flashing patterns or speeds and theyre often very fast and distracting. Much more of a dance party vibe than what I was going for. Which still would be okay if the mode was just one flashing pattern at a time, but seriously all six of them will start one way and switch to something else and then back. Ill never use those modes, so its pretty useless on that front. The two modes that I do like are gorgeous though, so its a small complaint.

Really super light set, many modes of lights, from twinkle to flashing to continuous, etc and super bright from way across the gym floor ! A+

I like these curtain lights a lot, in fact, this is the second time I have bought them because I liked them so much the first time. I use them to drape over my canopy bed and they give a delightful ambiance to my bedroom. They dont have a remote control, only an attached control with 8 settings. I mostly just use the last setting with the solid lights that stay on (no blinking/flashing/fading), but some of the other settings are gentle enough for calm indoor lighting, like the slow fade on and off. The version I bought also does not have a timer to turn off after a certain point. They plug directly into a wall outlet.

I loved this as a window decoration during the Christmas season. It added the perfect ambiance to my dining room. As long as you follow the directions the lights are easy to hang. I used command light hooks attached the wires and did not loose the twist ties until everything was in place. I had no tangling at all, just a beautiful festive look.

I use this light curtain as a headboard for my bed and it looks GREAT. The only thing about it is the way it works is a little misleading in the description. There is a little box on the wire leading for the outlet that has a button you use to control it. This button cycles through 8 different light modes (combinations of flashing, twinkling, etc...) so it isnt really remote controlled. Also, there is no timer function, which would have been nice. Ive also noticed that some of the lights dont actually completely turn off? They just get very very dim when the button is pushed to the off mode. Otherwise good product with great value.

really love the lights so far and how they added such a fairy element to my room lol. i attached two sets together and have the plug by the head of my bed. i love how bright they are, been using them instead of my lamp. but that’s the only con as of now. it would be great to change the brightness level to the same l brightness as the other string lights on my bed. i’m able to sleep with those but i always turn these curtain lights off bc i can’t stand that much brightness. other than that love. we’ll see how they hold up.

The brightness of these lights was amazing, I got the first set in November, and it absolutely lit up the dorm room so I instantly bought a second set. The connection from the lights to the power cord is at the top, so that multiple sets of lights can easily be connected, and there is a 9-foot-long connection cord that you use to plug one end of the lights into a wall outlet. The only issue I had with the set was that there isnt a simple on or off button, you have to cycle through all 8 modes every single time if you use the controller, so I had been simply unplugging them before bed, and plugging it in when it got dark the next day. However, after only six months, today when I went to plug in the lights they sparked like crazy, and didnt turn on. Upon closer inspection, I realized the wire had completely frayed and partially severed where it plugged into the wall. I would have blamed it on myself, had I not opened the second box to get the other plug (which had been used maybe 2-3 weeks before I connected the two strands) and it too was frayed. It had not severed yet so I wrapped it in electrical tape and it still works, but this seems to be a large flaw if they both become unusable after relatively little use.

I bought these for the holidays and like them so much that I am leaving them up year round.
