> 24 hour1G MM is all you need if most of Ubiquitis EdgeRouter and EdgeSwitch products. Do not over spend. Consider the copper interconnect also, but do know that if a surge ever hits your switch it will also take down your router.

> 24 hourI originally ordered this item back in August 2020 and it was listed and arrived as a PAIR of UF-MM-1G (a SFP fiber transceiver). This is what the image on the listing shows, and what the questions and reviews indicate the product is. Fast forward to 2022 and needing a second pair, I placed an order for the same item, with the same picture (showing 2 transceivers), and it came as a SINGLE UF-MM-1G. Then when I checked the listing it was actually titled as a UF-RJ45-1G which is for copper and not fiber. The bag it came in also says Fiber Multi-Mode SFP UF-RJ45-1G which doesnt make any sense since RJ45 is a copper connector and has nothing to do with fiber.

> 24 hourIf you plan on connecting your EDGE ROUTER to your EDGE SWITCH via SFP. Make sure you buy them from UBNT, just plug them in and they work.

> 24 hourI would recommend purchasing this product. It was plug and play and helped to free up a switch port.

> 24 hourGot these for my two UniFi 8 150W switches and they work just fine. Much cheaper solution than others that I found. I also used 1 in a Zyxel switch at one point and it worked fine as well. I would say these were a great buy for the price.

> 24 hourVery simple plug and play hardware. I connected a Ubiquiti 8 port switch to a Ubiquiti 24 port switch and was able to free up one of the POE ports. The package included 2 SPF modules. I then ran a fiber multimode duplex cable between the two and the connection was complete.
