These are obviously shielded well, because they have eliminated the RF interference and plain ol popping and crackling I was getting with my PreSonus Eris 5 studio monitors, which are pretty RF prone. I use this Ugreen set to connect my iPad or my headphone amp out of my laptop when mixing music tracks through the monitors. At first I got really nasty RF overall. Pro-level cables and a Mackie VLZ4 mini mixer solved the RF on that end of the audio chain, but the cheap Y cable I was using from the iPad/laptop was still an issue. I gave this one a shot and couldnt be happier, super quality and QUIET. And uGreen was smart enough to slightly extend the 1/8 TRS plug out a little so it would fit in device headphone jacks with a case on.
