They simply work, and work well. The base magnets are quite strong with a rubberized texture. The two-pronged hooks are smooth and polished - no edges to damage material. The set arrives in a small box with all pieces individually wrapped. Need a Phillips head screwdriver to use the provided screws to attach the hooks to the magnetic bases. The magnets are strong enough that sliding them on metal is difficult, but with the hooks attached, they provide leverage that make them easy to remove. We placed one on the back of the main door for jackets, and was pleased to find the hook is shallow enough that when the door is fully opened and hits the std-sized spring doorstop, the hook does not hit the wall. Only concern is the price - $25 seems a little high, but it is a good quality product that works.

These magnetic hooks are amazing! They are really strong and look elegant. I initially got them to hang holiday decor on the outside of my door but I liked the look and practicality so much I kept them on the inside to use for bags and jackets and scarves and the like. The magnet is really strong so it doesnt come off or slide down with heavier bags and purses. They do need to be assembled but they were really easy to put together.

I didn’t pay any attention to the size of these hooks when ordering and they are big! They are very sturdy and the magnet is so strong its almost hard to remove it from the surface. The little screws that hold it together were slightly difficult to match up, but once they were in place they were simple to screw and tighten it all together. I got these magnets to be used mostly on the side of my fridge to hold my apron and dog leashes. Secondary use of them will be to take on our occasional cruise ship voyage because the walls are metal. These are perfect for both uses and will hold just about anything you put on it. Big and strong enough for a couple of jackets even! Perfect for using on the fridge or any metal wall surface. The frame around the glass on my exterior french doors are metal and these stick wonderfully to those as well. I’m very pleased with these!

These hooks are robust. They are large and the magnet is very strong. Assembly took less than a minute. The photos make the color look almost like stainless steel but it is a much darker gray.

So, I didnt hold out too much hope for magnetic hooks, figuring they would not be strong enough to be widely useful. But the picture shows my two heaviest winter coats being held up nicely by them. To be sure, if you yank on them, they will break free. But if you avoid doing stuff like that, they can let you hang things where you cant drill holes (assuming its on a magnetic metal surface). I have them on a foam-core door with a metal skin, and they work great. Refrigerators are also a good surface. The hooks themselves are a nice muted metallic finish, and the magnets are enshrouded in soft rubber to avoid scratching. They have definitely added convenience. The only possible downside is that they are a bit expensive.

I really like these. Theyre bigger than I expected and stronger than I expected. They were easily put together with a Phillips head screwdriver (which was drawn to the magnet, but I prevailed). The brushed nickel hook looks modern and sophisticated. Ive wanted to hang a wreath or other decoration on my storm door for years but could never find a strong enough magnet for that until now. One of these hooks holds the wreath and a basket of goodies at the same time. I think these will prove useful in many more ways around the house. Im pleased.

The hooks and magnets look and feel to be a pretty good quality, I really like the profile of the hooks they are stylish and functional. However, the screws provided are too short and only thread on the first thread or two. I found this out the hard way unfortunately as my motorcycle jacket and vest are decently heavy, but it also wouldnt have taken much to rip the screws out of the hooks with the miniscule thread engagement. This also damaged the first inner threading of the hooks ripping off a circular disc of metal from the hooks screw hole. If it would have come with the proper length set of screws, this would have been a 5 star for me. But I cannot in good faith give it that, I will also not give a one star overall as I am able to go and buy screws that will hopefully resolve the issue for a few cents at the hardware store so long as the metal ripping off wont cause an issue.

These are good strong coat hooks. They look just like the picture. They have a brushed nickel finish. The edges of the metal are all finished well, and smooth. The magnet is coated with rubber to prevent damage to the surface you stick it on. You need to screw the hooks to the magnets when they arrive. It is a little difficult. You have to push hard to screw them together because the screws are a little short. I had to have my husband do it. Once assembled though, they are nice and strong. I definitely recommend them. They hold quite a bit of weight.

The last thing I expected was for the magnets to be so strong that they are difficult to assemble. Two screws for each hook. Good luck with metal screwdrivers. All kinds of interesting problems come up, in a hilarious way. Great hooks and a round of fun trying to screw them together.
