I love husky contractor bags. LOVE them. With that being said, Amazon for whatever reason never has them available, so here these are. I figured reviews were good, Id try em out. I personally hate them for what I bought them for. I use them for more demolition purposes and husky bags wont rip at all. These bags, sheet rock, Styrofoam, almost everything seems to rip them. Double them up, not much better. On top of that, they dont have handles to tie them shut, small thing but to me its a huge difference. The only positive for these things are they fit perfectly in my outdoor 32 gallon Rubbermaid brute trash can so theyll end up being used for more things equitable to paper plates, napkins, basically an oversized kitchen trash can. Not a waste, just ultimate disappointment

Its a contractor bag as good as hefty or contractors choice. 54 cents a bag is still way too high for me to make a massive order of a full crate. Recommend not to buy until bags cost $.40 each. These are like super premium one of a kind bag. They work great, just cost too much.

The bags themselves are mid. They mostly do the job, but as others have said, they do tear a lot. I have ordered several times and this last order they came without a box. It was an amazon bag full of unsecured trash bags. This is strange and difficult to manage. The listing even specifies that they conveniently dispense one at a time form the box. I dont plan to buy these again.

I have 3 apprehensions to buying again. 1. I have been disappointed with how easily the bag punctures and tears compared to other 3mil bags I typically buy. Once the material is compromised it seems to continue to tear, where as other bags put up more of a fight both in initial penetration and in containment of the damage. 2. The bags also have an intense smokey smell. Im keen on industrial smells, but each bag I pull out has a cigarette smoke smell to me; not a normal or familiar plastic smell. The smell dissipates quickly, but each bag has produced it. 3. It is a common bag design, but after using these I have grown a real appreciation for the other bags with the funny-shaped opening that gives you lobes to tie it shut with.

Once upon a time the words contractor bags meant something. It meant they could handle weight and sharp odds and ends such as dry wall pieces and bits of scrap wood. For the last 10 years or so any of the so-called contractor bags you pick up at a big box store have been no different from your garden variety Glad trash bags, so I decided to purchase these off of Amazon because I wanted a specific millimeter thickness. These definitely delivered. Never had an issue and the box lasted almost an entire year.

There are no dislikes.

Ok so read the reviews and figured why not try em!! Soooooo not disappointed!!! Im now on my 2nd order and will order more!! They are not twisty tie but Im great with that!! Im guessing they fixed what ever got them the bad reviews in the past because they are great now!! I use em for clothes to yard debris to alot between!! I can fill em up at they take a beating and survive alot!! I reuse some when I can too!!! Ill pay the price easy for the quality and quantity they have!! Wish could get a bigger box with more in em with the same quality!!!

Thought the price is high, I was able to get them quick. Well I’m impressed I just been shoving blackberry vines in them and they are holding up, minimum snagging, one bag I shoved a blackberry branch in just a little 3” tear I’ll still be able to load them up in my truck. Great size not a problem with the seam, which is only on the bottom. Come with twist but kind of chintzy with the thickness/ heaviness of these bags.

Havent decided if I will consider purchasing this item again...I will definately shop around first...

I got these bags to use for our large plastic trash cans at my gallery and they work great. The regular black trash bags werent big enough for the opening of the cans. These are really thick and dont tear when they are full of cans and bottles. I like that they are large enough to stretch around the edge of the cans so that the bags dont fall inside. So far, we havent had one tear on us yet, and we often fill them with heavy stuff, sharp stuff, messy stuff. If you need a tough bag, these work great.
