Uniden BC-UTGC GPS USB Cable for use with BCD325P2 Handheld TrunkTracker V Scanner, SDS100 True I/Q Digital Handheld Scanner and BC-GPSK Serial GPS Receiver

Use this cable on my Uniden SDS100 scanner and external GPS module and that combo allows the scanner to follow public service frequencies based on my location.

Not sure why this was needed. A USB cable is just as well to use. Vendor was great, delivery and return. Just don’t get the purpose of this product unless you need the round connector.

Only way I could get the correct connector on the scanner end. Cut the USB end off to make a custom cable.

Awesome plug. Hooked up the GPS Antenna to my Uniden BearCat BCD325P2 Scanner without any issues. Took a few minutes the first time, but after that it is almost immediate!

Fit Uniden SDS100 scanner with BR-355S4 GPS. Makes it really nice traveling with scanner.

Works as expected with GPS puck. The only design issue I have with it is the USB Mini cord could be longer when using in vehicle. The length isnt quite long enough to allow for much variation in placement of scanner. Might add an extension of some sort to take the stress off the cable when in the mount Im using.

Using one of these late model scanners without a GPS makes the scanner worthless without extensive programming. With the GPS and the connecting cable, you can ride from coast to coast and the scanner will change frequencies as you drive along. By all means, use a GPS.
