> 24 hourWhen I 1st got the radio I could not figure out how to use the scan feature. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it would not. What the instructions will not tell you is that you have to have the squelch knob turned up to the point where there is no more static in order for the scan feature to actually start scanning. I actually went to the trouble of calling customer service only to get someone that was difficult to understand and could barely help me at all. It was only after I sat around and played with it for about an hour that I actually figured out what was going on. That would have been a nice little bit of information to include. I had literally already printed out a return label and put it on a box and was ready to put it back in the package and send it back and figured it out at the last minute.

> 24 hourOutstanding handset. Works great for CB, clear sound, great battery life. Getting about 2 miles in wilderness, .5 mile in city, but this is to be expected where I live.

> 24 hourI found this CB to be easy to use, but the portable antenna does not offer usable range when inside a vehicle. I purchased two of these for communicating between vehicles and I couldnt hear or be heard when I could see the second driver right behind me. We switched to the magnetic antenna and audio quality improved greatly, as did the range. Your mileage my vary but we then had no issues communicating in hilly terrain when we were not in sight of each other. A dedicated vehicle CB would be great but I needed the portability that this unit offers. I wouldnt hesitate purchasing this again but I would recommend sticking to that roof antenna whenever its practical.

> 24 hourAntenna and corresponding cabling were in good condition when they arrived and were tested, as for the handheld radio, attached images suffice to describe. Q.C. skipped a beat. Uniden radios as a whole are great, but I seemed to be one of the unlucky few.

> 24 hourJust make sure you dont have an aluminum pick up if you wanna use the magnet antenna hahaha we could hear the truckers talking about the cops and used it for the weather channel driving through the Midwest during tornado season

> 24 hourUnit overheated and failed within a few minutes of putting batteries in. Uniden quality is apparently not what it once was.
