Easy item, lower tension to work smoothly

If the carriage inside width was just smidge wider the problem I experienced could be avoided, and this thing could be hacked to use the original bearings in the Creality tensioner mechanism. For me, the pulley itself is rubbing on the tension carriage adding dragging and screeching. If the part were better designed, they could give some relief to hold the center of the bearing in place yet leave clearance for the pulley. Or the whole center part of the carriage could be made wider and some thing washers inserted to create the clearance. And this should really be using a shoulder bolt instead of a fully threaded M5 part so the bearings are riding on a shaft instead of undersized thread.

This is the second one that I have purchased. Work great and you can adjust on the fly. When installing you can take the item apart and install it without messing with the belts. Happy!!! Thanks

Much easier to tension the belt but the hole through the sheave is not bored true making the sheave wobble as it turns. Looks great but this little issue is disappointing.

I purchased this tensioner for my Ender 3 V2 after getting a little carried away tightening the Y-axis belt and breaking the stock tensioner. This was a cheaper option than purchasing a OEM part and a much better alternative. The tensioner is all metal and I have zero fear of overtightening and breaking it. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade.

I have a Ender 3 Pro and the bed carriage crashes into this tensioner. <--READ UPDATE! UPDATE 9/28/21 : If you use Bigtreetechs firmware for the SKR Mini/TFT35 they change the default bed size to 235x235 instead of the default 220x220 and this will cause the pom wheels on the Y axis to hit this tensioner. To fix this change it back to 220x220!

This was necessary for my Ender 3 Pro; I was having stair-stepping issues after a whole year of printing and discovered that my X-axis cable kept jumping due to the slack it developed. However, after I installed this along with a fresh cable, the stair-stepping problem disappeared! I am fully aware that you can 3d print these, but metal lasts longer and it gives a more finished appearance; as if it were a part of the machine when I got it.

Easy to install on my Ender3, and it makes it much easier to maintain proper y-axis belt tension by allowing me to use the screw to tighten or loosen the belt. The entire replacement process took around 5 minutes and print results are just as good as before. Yes, you can print your own parts, but this one is made with metal so you dont have to worry about subjecting the part to too much tension. Affordable and easy upgrade to the stock y-axis belt tensioner.

Crashed into the bed while its running through the ABL process ONLY when its running through the center row. All others seem to not have an issue.

So much easier to get the belts tight, easy to install, works well.
