Perfect large cage

I have a Cal Cage for my conure that has a play gym on the top and have had difficulty finding covers that are functional and fit well. The cheaper vinyl covers do not provide any protection against cold nor do they block light, and they do not provide adequate ventilation. This cover is outstanding. Well made of quality fabric, and yet still breathable, with the added plus of blocking light well. My conure sleeps much better since we started using this cover and I couldnt be happier. As for the cost, I paid the same for this cover as for the last of the vinyl/plastic covers that I purchased and this cover is easily worth more.

My cockatiel has been getting hormonal, and I’ve been told she needs 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of light (preferably UVA UVB). So I was looking for a high quality black out cover for her cage. This fit the bill. It is a very high quality material and has a beautifully embroidered combination mark consisting of a perching bird and Perfitel. “tell perfect life”. It looks great, but to be honest, the slogan doesn’t sound like proper English, although I may be wrong. There are hook and loop (Velcro) fasteners Down each side of the front panel for easy access, and the cover is easy to remove because it has two loop handles on the top. It’s a little trickier to put on the cage- harder than a beach towel, but I’m already getting used to it. My bird Tweetie Pie has been enjoying better quality sleep because of this cover. It also came in a very nice material zip lock and inside there was another bag made of the same material as the cover with Perfitel signature logo on it. Very nice presentation and useful for storage when not in use. The shipping was lightning fast- ordered one night and received next day. Overall, 5 stars and A+ grade. My bird and I couldn’t be happier! EDIT: I think I like this cover more than my bird. Since we’ve been experiencing a heat wave since last week, my cockatiel has been protesting this cover being placed on her cage. When she sees it in my hands, she starts hissing and lunging, spreading her wings in defense of her castle. I went from full cover to partial cover with the mid section open to no cover whatsoever. It seems that she is too warm with the cover and cannot breathe! So, I have not used it for this last week. Tonight, she was very angry because not only did she not want to be covered, but my roommate used the kitchen that is only a few yards away and he turned on the bright kitchen lights whilst her cage was uncovered. Not very “bright” of him! So, I would say, don’t waste your money on this unless you live in a very cold part of the world.

A little bulky to handle but a good value for the money.

This made such a difference with our Amazon parrot. Now she quiets down and goes to sleep as soon as we put this on the cage at bedtime.

I got this to cover my Yaheetech 52 inch cage because a regular blanket was not keeping my cockatiels quiet at night. This keeps my loud birds silent all night!

My African grey is very happy with this cover. Best yet he has not been able to chew holes in the material.

It is well made and easy to apply and remove.
