It is total black out and much better than blankets like I have been using. I also bought him a heater and it took awhile for him to get used to it but on cold nights he is beside it.

Great cover for the price. Needs to be a little easier to clean.

This works great for keeping the area clean and letting the sugar gliders know its bed time.

I cant say enough good things about this product! I had a problem getting my conures to go to sleep at night... their cages are huge, and I was trying to cover them with blankets. Light was getting in, and they were throwing a fit at bedtime for about an hour. This product completely covers the cages, all the way down to the floor, and blocks about 95% of the light. It almost velcros itself closed when you put down the front part of the cover. My conures, now go to sleep, without fit throwing, within about 15 minutes, and I can still have the lights on in the room. Many, many thanks to the makers of this product! Youve given me the ability to stay up past 7 PM, and have the lights on... my conures are asleep, thanks to your covers. I recommend this product!!!!!

Good quality fabric and stitching, blackout but with a few barely opaque areas for good ventilation. No Smell - Yay! Needed a large size to cover dome top and glad to have it because it covers external attachments well. Very pleased with the purchase. Comes with a zippered storage bag. Looks a bit like Darth Vader when its on, and Im cool with that.
