I originally purchased the uppababy vista for its ability to convert to a double strolled in the event we had more children. We recently took our first outing as a family of 4 and the lower adapters worked perfectly. They are EASY to install and were extremely sturdy with the bassinet installed. Highly recommend.

The product works well for what it is but its not the product that I was hoping for. I did not realize that it does not fit the toddler seat that comes with the Uppababy Vista. This product allows me to place the bassinet in the lower seat position (which more or less completely takes away all storage space) and my toddler to ride in the higher position. However, my preference would have been to have the baby in the upper position and the older child in the lower position. With the baby in the lower position, you dont have visualization of them and its harder to access them especially without taking the toddler seat off. In order to have the toddler in the lower position, you need to buy a separate rumble seat that goes in the lower position (~200 dollars) which I did not realize.

We have a 2 yo and a 6 week old - the uppababy vista and v2 configuration only lets you have the toddler in the seat facing you and bassinet below (this means you cant see the new born and the toddler lacks the ability to see where you’re going, and the world generally) or the toddler in the front facing out in the rumble seat which has a weight limit of 35 lbs (my 2 yo is 34 lbs - tall not chubby!). the system is really made for twins and making it all work requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and accommodation that newborns and toddlers don’t afford most parents. Additionally, the ruble seat makes the whole thing squeak and the otherwise Cadillac like maneuvering feel VERY awkward.

Does not work with the Rumble Seat as shown in the pictures. Very frustrating.

You really don’t need the lower adapter unless you want the bassinet at bottom which I personally don’t like. I ended up just buying the adapter for a maxi cosi car seat and put my youngest up top and my eldest in the rumble seat.

Doesn’t work for the toddler seat as shown but works for carseat and bassinet so 3/5 because realistically would rather my toddler be at the bottom where she can look around and have easy access to her seat. Rather then my new born at the bottom to where I can’t easily check on them.

First time parent here! Spent several hours logistically planning how my wife and I were gonna navigate a busy airport with a stroller and car seat for our upcoming trip. We will be traveling with a 4 month old and needed to make sure that we were able to easily have our hands free if needed ; instead of lugging the car seat attached to one of our suitcases and or attached to our backs. The car seat will be used on the airplane and we needed a way to safely transport it through the airport to the plane. The pairing demonstrated in the picture are the upper and lower attachment’s by UPPAbaby. This configuration is great for our family as we will be able to utilize the stroller seat as the primary on the stroller, and the car seat in a stored position to be able to transport it through security (TSA) without lugging it on our backs and or attached to our luggage.
