UPPAbaby VISTA Travel Bag with TravelSafe

Best purchase for our travels! The airline actually damaged our Vista stroller in transport, but it was one thing I was not worried about because we purchased the travel bag and it insured stroller. Uppababy has amazing customer service and got the stroller frame out and to me ASAP. It was super easy to get the stroller in the bag and the convenience was superb!

Very impressed with the UppaBaby travel bag for our Vista stroller. Well constructed with ample padding. If you are an UppaBaby stroller owner its worth getting their travel bags as UB will repair or replace your stroller if anything happens while in transit with the bag.

I purchased this because of the TravelSafe Protection included. I thought it was very generous. However, as soon as I received it I looked on the box and it said in small letters Program benefits are contingent upon your gear being under its original warranty, which means that the most youll get out of this benefit is 2 years, and if you are out of warranty, youre out of luck. I thought that made this listing very deceiving because it has all the information except for those critical details. I immediately returned it. We still have a year on the warranty. They make TravelSafe such a huge feature that they even include it in the listing name, that I feel omitting this term is very dishonest. For the premium investment on just a Travel Bag, its not worth it. Well pick up one of the aftermarket bags that cost less and protect better.

I have an older version of the travel bag, but the zipper broke so I bought this bag to replace it. What a piece of junk! The older version is a much better product. I’d try to find a used one before spending any money on this bag. First of all, the older bag fits the stroller and 2 seats. This bag barely fits the stroller and 1 seat. I tried looking really quick. I guess I’m supposed to buy a separate bag for the extra seat? Clearly, whoever designed the travel bag doesn’t have kids. Traveling with 2 toddlers and trying to pack up a stroller as you are boarding the plane is insanity on its own. I’m supposed to pack the stroller and one seat in one bag and then the other seat in a separate bag?? And then I’m standing and waiting for 2 bags while holding my toddlers who just want to take off and run. It’s incredibly annoying that Uppababy realized they could make more money by designing a bag that only fits one seat and then selling a separate bag. It’s not feasible. Too much to keep track of. Just charge more for one bag that fits it all. Thanks for nothing Uppababy.

As others have mentioned, getting the stroller in to this bag takes a good 5-10 minutes and requires 2 hands (so effectively you need a baby carrier or a second set of hands to even use). What took this bag from annoying to awful for me though is that sometime on our last trip either from the gatecheck or the stroller tires, the bag developed an unquestionably strong stench of urine. Even though this product is designed to sit on runways etc. it is not made of waterproof material and it is spot clean only. UPPABABY suggested we try spot cleaning it and letting it air dry. To remove URINE. Oddly enough, it didnt work and their subsequent emails were even less helpful and increasingly insulting. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We now have a $125 bag that we dont feel comfortable using.

Practice putting the stroller in the bag is a must! I watched videos and even practiced while having my baby with me since I was flying alone. The bag it’s self is tight fit hard to stretch and the zipper is hard to close the first time. Travel day came and my vista was packed in the travel safe bag. I kept it in the bag during my layover and always gate checked it. My last flight had alot of turbulence and Sadly my Vista was damaged. I registered the bag and after submitting a claim with Uppababy they emailed me that a new stroller was on its way! This bag is worth the money!

I hesitate to write such a poor review because I love Uppababy products, but this product was not engineered with parents traveling with TWO babies. This product fits the VISTA base and toddler seat not the Rumble seat. There is a separate travel bag for the Rumble seat. I missed that distinction before purchasing this travel bag. The night before we traveled to Boston for the holidays my husband and I realized this bag was not going to fit the Vista base, all the adaptors needed, and the Rumble seat! Why would UPPABABY not think about parents of two traveling in the airport! You already have a carivan of stuff to carry onto the flight. The last thing parents want is EVEN MORE gate check items. Had Uppababy mad this bag slightly bigger the Rumble seat would fit much easier! As an aside, we forced the Rumble seat and Vista base with all adaptors into this bag. It was not pretty but we had no choice.

Seems really sturdy. I have the vista but wanted to know if this would also fit the uppa baby cruz? Love this product. Can’t wait to travel...
