I set my iMac down on it and plugged in and the lights came on and I was in Fat City! I used its old-fashioned USB Port to restore 45,000 files which had become marooned on my external drive. And so Amazing Amazon had this machine and I got it!. My external drive recognized my new iMac, which does not have an old-fashioned USB port.

I have an iMac in my home office and I got this hub due to its design. It sits under the iMac so the weight keeps it in place. The design matches Mac style and the quality is excellent. Works great and fits perfectly with the Mac design. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Easy to set up. The external drive is great. You have to order the external drive the port only comes with a bay for the external drive you need to buy the external drive.

As much as I love apple, they never have enough compatible ports available for use. This keeps me from having to decide between mic or light. Charger or printer etc.

This is an amazing hub. Its color matches the mac perfectly. You forget that it is there, you dont even see it. But when you need a port it provides really easy access. I also put an SSD in it as a backup drive.

Edit 2022 06 29 I installed a Samsung 2 TB NVMe in this hub with a USB 3.2 connection to my computer which has an SSD. I copied a 12.7 GB file from the computer SSD to this NVMe in 10 seconds. Thats fast enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RK2SR23?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 --- Original Review --- The USB C Hub for iMac 24 inch 2021, Minisopuru USB Hub Adapter Support M.2 NVMe SSD appears well made from aluminum and matches the iMac and Mac Studio. It has a few ports on the side and a short cord to plug into the Mac. It seems like a lot of hubs have the SD and Micro SD card slots and this one does too. I waited to receive the hub before I purchased a SSD to ensure there were no limits so I have not tried that out yet, but should have the SSD in a few days. The hub connects with USB 3.2. The usb 3.2 hub can easily access your basic devices smoothly. I would have preferred Thunderbolt 4 as that is the standard on current Macs, but it is a compromise between features and price. The kit included a screw driver, silicone pad to protect the electronics of the SSD, and 2 screws and standoffs. Be careful when opening the box. The bag containing the screws was not closed.

I really like the new design that doesn’t have their logo in front of the hub (according to other reviews their previous design has a logo in the front.) The color matches well with the iMac. The installation is straightforward and it comes with a screwdriver and cooler pad for SSD. My iMac was able to recognize SD cards and all my USB peripherals with no issues. It does not support USB PD charging though. The drawback that I do wish they could update is to offer Thunderbolt 4 with higher bandwidth instead of 10Gb/s TBT3, which a lot of fast M.2 SSD exceeds.
