> 24 hourThis umbrella would rate higher if it were not so heavy. It is a well built umbrella except that it is top heavy, especially when there is wind. The umbrella is made with aluminum and causes it to be quite heavy to hold for any length of time, plus the base of the handle is a bit cheap. This is a good umbrella for using on short trips but is too heavy for long periods of time. It is a shame because it does keep you cooler in the heat, maybe they will fix these short cummings and then it will be a great umbrella!

> 24 hourMust have for blocking sun. Slightly bulkier then a standard umbrella but blocks the sun perfectly. Provides a good amount of shade for 1-2 people.

> 24 hourIts a Bit heavy for me. I’m elederly and not too strong. I wish I could exchange for the small/light one but not sure how to do it... It’s a great umbrella though, wonderful shade and sturdy and so cool underneath.

> 24 hourI used this umbrella at my granddaughters high school graduation and got there early to sit at the top of the bleachers so not to block anyones view. My family always teases me and especially when they arrived and saw my umbrella up. They had a great time laughing. Before the event started I had two different strangers come up to feel the difference from their regular sun umbrella to my UV-Blocker umbrella and you could feel the difference. I was also surprised to see all the regular umbrellas going up and not even sun umbrellas. Im glad I came prepared with sun block on and this umbrella. It protected and kept me cool from the heat of the direct sun.

> 24 hourI really love this UV blocker and, in a way, it’s difficult to describe what it does in simplistic terms on paper. In bright high-UV sunlight, the UV blocker blocks out the radiant heat/UV rays. With an inexpensive sun shade, while it blocks out some of the bright light, you can still feel the radiant heat on your skin as UV rays can still penetrate the material. Conversely, the UV blocker is akin to standing under a shady overhang while the intense sun’s UV rays beats down from above. You no longer feel that radiant heat on your skin while under the UV blocker and, while the UV blocker is a bit heavier than a $10.00 sun shade, it does do what it was designed for.

> 24 hourThis sun umbrella appears to be keeping the sun off me. I use it when I take long walks and no matter how strong the sun, I never get a burn. I highly recommend it. But after a while, maybe six months or less the protective coating wears off and you need to get a new, but it is worth the price

> 24 hourI’m a PE teacher and I can’t stand in the sun all day. Once the kids know what to do I can walk around with this, so I’m not frying all day outside with no shade. It totally block sun and is a great size but it is heavier than I thought. Still worth it though.

> 24 hourThank you for your response to my email concerning the defective UV-Blocker Travel umbrella I had received. I really appreciated it. The replacement arrived and operates perfectly. I look forward to relying on it for the strong sun protection I need. I just was able to recommend the umbrella to a couple at an Oakland As ballgame! Over the 6 years that I used my first UV-Blocker I was asked about it many times and always commented how much I liked it
