My grandson wanted a umbrella that was lightweight and would fit in his school backpack. This one was perfect since it has such a nice waterproof case so a rainy wet umbrella doesn’t get everything in his backpack wet. Its good protection even in the pouring rain, the material in the canopy is strong and water-repellent. It seems to pretty good in windy conditions as well, it has 6 reinforced fiberglass ribs and chrome plated strong metal. They come in nice colors, I got the purple one since that’s his favorite color.

I appreciate the portability of this umbrella. Likewise, the carrying case keeps my backpack dry when I put the umbrella away after using it. I think this is a good value for a small, backpack or purse size umbrella. I am pleased.

I was looking for a light weight and small umbrella for travel. This is a perfect one for my need. Everything is great and I love this one. Handle is a bit small for me, but it may be necessary for travel use.

This is a perfect travel/carry with you umbrella. Its small and has a case so you dont need to worry about using it then not knowing what to do with it, just throw it in the case & into your bag without worrying it will get anything wet! Brilliant. Perfect for what it is, a small travel umbrella.

This mini umbrella is a lifesaver. Its lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with both a regular cover and the carrying case which is such a bonus. Its easy to open and close and doesnt get stuck or jam. My favorite part is how thick the umbrella material is because its great for blocking sun as well as rain. Its also a pretty strong umbrella so it takes a lotttt of wind for it to flip. Even if it does flip(i live in chicago where its very windy so it has flipped) its easy to straighten out and I havent noticed any damage when it does get flipped. I love throwing this in my bag in case it rains any day and I dont have to constantly remember to take my umbrella because its so light I can just always have it on me.

Edit: I was able to try this umbrella out last night in a pretty down pour with some minor small gusts. The umbrella was quit to go inside out with the slightest of wind. Super disappointed. I spend a lot of time flipping it right side out. Not what I want to do in a rain storm. I was super excited to get this umbrella because I had been looking for a smaller one. The color is super cute and I love that it also blocks sun rays. However, not only is it really hard to open, its also really hard to close. I have to really press hard on both ends to shut it, and I can see it getting me soaked in doing so. Im also worried that with it being hard to open and close it will put stress on the legs causing it to break. Finally, no matter how many times I wrapped it up to buckle it, it looked a mess. Luckily it fits in the zippered case no problem. I am not able to get it into the sleeve it comes with.

This is a nice little set. The case is pretty sturdy with a good zipper. The umbrella is easy to open and close. I was surprised at how big it opened up, it comes pretty folded up in the case. The downside to that is that the frame is not very heavy-duty, this will not withstandd heavy winds. Overall though, a nice umbrella to have on hand with a case to keep it from getting everything wet when you close it up.

My son opened the umbrella and one of the ribs broke immediately. I was unable to rewrap the umbrella small enough to fit back into the case.

When I opened the package I thought it was a pair of sunglasses. Only when I unzipped the case did I realize that there was an umbrella in there! This thing really is compact! It would be easy to stash in a purse or even a big pocket. Like I mentioned, its about the size of a sunglasses case. This will be perfect for our vacation travels!
