I ordered these to improve the steering on our lawnmowers and we installed them on two of those mowers and I am impressed with the ease in steering on them both. They are both older lawnmowers and the steering was getting harder as the years went by. Now we can mow with them and not have the same issues with the steering being harder than ever to use, because these bearings really made a huge difference in how well the will steer and turn.

I feel a little dim witted for not thinking of this myself. I worked in heavy truck repair for years and understood the concept of thrust bearings in king pin set ups. This is the same principle. BTW, they work great. I can steer my mower with one hand again.

I bought two of these, one for an Ariens/Husqvarna and another one for a John Deere. It made a huge difference on my older Ariens/Husqvarna, but couldnt feel that same dramatic change on my newer John Deere. Both axles were kept greased, and I also greased these bearings before installing. Bottom line, the bearings are fantastic, the difference they will make will depend on your lawn tractor.

This bearing kit is a great addition for my Husky lawn tractor. The stock configuration has nothing.

If you think you’re gonna be able to turn your wheel with one finger like video show on YouTube then you’re in for a shock. This did nothing absolutely nothing I don’t feel it or see that it does anything to improve steering.. nice gimmick though

Would of been great if two washers per bearing was in the package as shown when ordering.

I used these thrust bearings on the steering of my John Deere lawn tractor. They work well. Just took too long to get here.
