Van Ness 5-Pound Food Container with Fresh-Tite Seal (FC5) White

Using these to keep dog food fresh. We buy big bags and pour them into these containers.

WATCH OUT. Not consistent. The ad states that these are tightly closed. It all depends on the rubber track on the lid. One of my lids rubber tracks was perfect. The other was split BOTH would allow water to come out if you put a cup of water in (such as in the initial cleaning) - closed the lid and turned it over. Thus these wont keep bugs out. I stuffed some cotton in the track where it is split. I have daily cat servings in baggies. It is easier for family to pull out a bag that has the daily amount then trying to measure every day. Other than the above. The containers fit great in pantry shelves- no height problems. The lid is sized great for labeling.

Perfect size for my bag of cat food. Small and easy to fit in tight places.

This container is airtight and perfect for a 5 pound bag of dog food. It’s very sturdy and easy to open and close. Very happy that I purchased this one.

Perfect for cat food!

Frustrated that ants were able to contaminate the cat food, so I presume keeping the cat food fresh is also debatable.

Perfect size for small bags of dry food for a dog or cat. Keeps my cabinets looking neat andorderly. 5 lbs fit perfectly.
