> 3 dayI am absolutely in love with this product. I will forever have it in my home. It has helped SO MUCH with my toddler’s eczema. We put a Manuka lotion on first, let it dry, then this, then Aquapher and within 5 days, it’s breaking her eczema cycle. I had some dry skin on my face and this helped with that too. I’m soooo happy I found this and 100% credit it with helping her eczema. If you struggle with dry skin or eczema, GET THIS LOTION!

Greater than one weekRecommend to me by my allergist in 2016, as of 2021 this is still the only lotion or cream that I will use for as long as it’s still made.

Greater than one weekI was given samples of this brand from an allergy specialist and it is really the only option I found for truly unscented, paraben free, hypoallergenic hygiene products. If what you need is unscented, hypoallergenic soap/shampoo/conditioner due to sensitive skin or an allergy, this is it. Its hard to come by and its nothing glamorous but it fits the bill when youre trying to avoid potential allergens. It can be purchased in some stores but it is not easy to find and it is more expensive. This is a thick, creamy lotion but it definitely works. Its more expensive than many lotions you find at the store but if you have very sensitive skin, its great.

13-04-2025This was recommended by my dermatologist as a good daily moisturizer that isnt greasy. I generally use Aveeno, but decided to try Vanicream with the hope that it would become a staple lotion for me. I like it. Moisturizing my hand was the test. My hands are very dry and almost every lotion I have tried has filed to provide moisture for any length of time. Vanicream passed the test. For me, Aveeno does provide moisture a bit longer than Vanicream, but there isnt a significant difference at all. I really like this product. I like it so much that I have purchased a jar for a family member so they can experience it and it will be one of my stole products.

Greater than one weekMy dermatologist recommended this line of products for my extremely dry and flaky skin. I find this very good for moisterizing. Does not really help for keeping the flaking under control. For that I find using Aquaphor Healing ointment best. KB in NM

Greater than one weekMy favorite thing about Vanicream is that I can use it. I am allergic or sensitive to so many things. My skin is very dry and anything can make it break out. With Vancream I dont itch. I use it mixed with sesame oil after a shower. Vanicream is very thick and is too sticky by itself, as far as I am concerned. My dermatologist approves of my using it this way. I began using Vanicream at her suggestion after everything else failed me.

> 3 dayI usually spend entirely too much money on bougie skin care products that promise me I am going to look 20 years younger if I just pay their exorbitant price and use it. My bathroom cabinet of half used moisturizers is a testament to the fact that I am a marketers dream and can be sold anything. My esthetician Monica at my plastic surgeon’s office suggested this. She had other products she suggested that were more expensive and surprisingly effective but she said for an everyday moisturizer, this is all I need. She was correct. Vanicream has such a great soft fluffy texture, goes on smoothly, is not heavy or overly greasy, and is unscented.. I put a dollop in my hand, squirt on a pump of my BB cream and I have an instant tinted moisturizer. I also dip my concealer wand into a dab of it and it keeps it from caking up in my crow’s feet. Finish with a light powder brushed all over your face and you are ready for the day. If you are a fabulous 50-ish woman, do yourself a favor and give it a try. It is not expensive for the large amount you get and will last a long time.

> 3 dayRecently I’ve noticed my mom showing up in the mirror- specifically her rosacea. I have very dry skin, don’t wear make up and have never taken great care of my skin, and at 48, it’s starting to show. I feel like in five days since I’ve started using this along with a thin layer of benzoyl peroxide that the rosacea has improved significantly. I slather it on currently and it feels sticky after a while, but hey, we’re not supposed to be touching our faces, right?

> 3 dayFirst let me say that I am a label-reader: I read ingredients on everything from soup to nuts to skin creams. I never buy a product because of the package design or the celebrity that is marketing it. I go straight to the ingredients and make my decision from there (for all the Aquaphor-users out there, read the label - its Vaseline). While its very true that Vanicream is a nice, non-irritating cream for sensitive skin, the list of ingredients is still made up of long-syllabled chemicals that are hard to pronounce. This doesnt sit well with me, but my daughters dermatologist recommended it so thats why I purchased this product. Vanicream looks, feels, and smells (there is no smell) just like Cetaphil cream. In fact, we alternate between the two depending which is on sale at the time. We tend to stay away from creams that are perfumey or greasy, so when we dont want to splurge financially on natural homeopathic creams with natural ingredients that are familiar and easy to pronounce, we always come back to Vanicream.
