When I bought the original glass container the floss that came with it had a definite peppermint flavor. These refills have a medicinal flavor.

So, skeptical me, ordered this thinking that its not like the thick stuff and Im going to hate it but Im buying it because its good for the environment. Surprise! I love the reusable glass container (though the little cutter always needs a little prying up), the product quality is terrific! This floss does not shred or break between tight teeth. I dont notice much of a peppermint scent or flavor but otherwise it performs flawlessly. It manages to clean nicely between teeth and actually is easier to use than the thicker stuff. Most of all, I appreciate the glass container, the compostable/recyclable packaging, and, I hope, the compostability of the floss itself.

I feel good about one of my small parts in helping the planet. I think of all those plastic containers and floss in the ocean and landfills. This works just as good as regular dental floss. I already have the little glass container which I also got on Amazon.

Of all the eco friendly floss I’ve tried this is my absolute favorite. Performs well and doesn’t get painfully stuck like other enviro friendly floss I’ve tried. The price for the quantity is also quite the bargain.
