Worked great. Was able to save and use the factory adhesive. Some 3M genetic short strips were included but could not see that working well as it was thinner and not shaped for the screen cut outs to seal correctly. Good variety of tools included.

My husband dropped his tablet and shattered the screen. Repair shop wanted $150 to fix for a tablet that only cost us $175. I watched several youtube videos to see how to fix and ordered this screen and repair kit. I had the tablet repaired in 30-45 minutes. Works great!! Only hard parts were getting the broken screen off and then making sure the little computer component was secure before I put the cover back on. This screen comes with little glue strips that work but are kind of tedious. I saw other screens that had the glue pre applied but the ratings were lower than for this one. I made it work but the pre applied glue would be a great benefit although that would probably increase the cost. Overall this worked great and my husband is completely impressed with my abilities, lol. Oh and the tool kit is a little helpful but the plastic tools broke quickly. I had a tiny screwdriver set with a tiny flathead in it that was the primary tool I used.

My son broke the digitizer a year or so ago. I decided to give putting a new one on a try. It operates like new and looks like new. It even has the samsung symbol on there. I have had it on there for about three months. The install was a little difficult. This was the first time doing it and it took me about an hour or so. I have have worked on computers and laptops so your mileage may vary. Youtube is your friend, there are numerous videos out there that break it down for you. I would recommend this to anyone that does not want to spend another 100 - 150 on a good tablet.

I did A by the book install and 5 days later the screen fell off and tore the connector. I notified amazon, A replacement was sent out immediately along with A free return label. Installed second one and 2 weeks later still going strong. Excellent support! Thanks much.

For Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 (Barnes and Noble Nook) Came with tools, but I did not need to use any of it. First, I watched a couple of vids on youtube. I could not figure out how to properly connect the flex connector to the tablet, had to watch a particular youtube vid several times, then realizing that the connector on the tablet, had a tiny flip locking tab, barely able to see with my eyes, even with a close up shot from my phone, can actually flip open and close. First open the flip tab on the tablet, if you insert the flex connector into the tablet connector properly and close the flip tab, it should feel slightly snug to close and lock it down, after that, I just used some blue painters tape over the flip tab to make sure it will stay close from any vibration. First step is, just like the manufacturer has stated, do not remove the broken screen yet, but remove the old flex connector and connect the screen replacement flex connector to test and make sure the new screen works, dont have to remove the protective plastic sheet on the replacement screen to test, once you confirm that it works, then go ahead an start the actual replacement. Before connecting the flex connector from the new screen replacement, use a lint free swab/pad with rubbing alcohol and clean the flex connector, the part that makes contact with the connector on the tablet and make sure its dry before connecting. Pros: - Came with a bunch of tools(but I did not need them) - Essentially very easy to install - Works perfectly Cons: It comes with 3M adhesive tape, which its kind of a PITA to put the on the tablet yourself(not on the screen replacement). Some other screen protector already has the adhesive on the new screen, but not this one. Just make sure you put the adhesive around each corners also to get a nice seal. Conclusion: No regret buying and installing it myself within 1 hr, better than paying $50 for some so called professionally to install it for you. >>UPDATE 7/19/2020 See image, this is the flip locking tab I was referring to. With my messed up eyes, I first did not realize that this actually can flip open and close to lock it down. In this image, its in the open position. >>UPDATE 8/2/2020 I initially gave it 5 stars. Prior to installing it completely, I did connect it to the tablet and tested the touch screen, it seemed to work fine, such as dragging an icon around, maybe I did not test it thoroughly enough. After fully installing it, about a few days after installation, then I noticed that the far right side of the screen does not respond. hence I change my initial 5 stars to 2. >>UPDATE 8/7/2020 Now, the whole screen does not work at all.
