Vera Bradley Womens Cotton Campus Backpack, Stained Glass Medallion - Recycled Cotton, One Size

In NE Ohio - apparently Vera Bradley purses - iPhone cases and backpacks are all the rave among young women. I bought this for my Granddaughter who is starting high school this year. She picked it out and is absolutely in love with it. She wanted a large backpack with a lot of nooks and crannies to put things and this bag fits her needs.

Ive had this bag about 2 weeks now and have been using it as a diaper bag/every day bag. It seems very sturdy and well made even when I have tons of stuff in it. Super cute too! Plenty of organization and space. Love it!

This is more than just a beautiful bag. This is an amazing backpack. It has more than enough room for my full size college books and doesn’t cut into my shoulders.

Vera Bradley bags are usually better than this. This fabric is harder, stiffer, and less pleasing to the touch than her normal cotton fabric. Its labeled as recycled and Ive used recycled fabric before which was not hard to the touch, so I suspect this was treated with some kind of starch or something during the dying process, to make it feel different, to differentiate it from other fabrics in her line. Sadly, whatever they did to this fabric makes it unpleasant. It feels plasticky when recycled cotton actually feels just like new cotton. I have no idea what they did to the fabric in this line, but I dont like the feel of it on my skin or through my clothing. That said, this is a good backpack and holds up to use. This is a really good quality backpack, well made with recycled cotton fibers and it is machine washable. It is not exactly pink, more of a salmon color but it is lovely. It is big enough for a small laptop or note book with plenty of room for charging cables. This will make an easy carry-on for traveling on airlines as well and it is a Vera Bradly! Good quality stuff from this brand.

My daughter needed a new backpack for school purposes. She picked this one and is very happy with it. Soft and durable, and large capacity for a small tablet, books, headphones, and many other supplies. Everything is somewhat protected/padded inside, but not waterproof. Plenty of storage space. Comfortable on shoulders. Can clean up dirty spots with water and a light detergent.

The backpack is great! Fits all of my books, folders, etc.

Purchased for my granddaughter to use for college. Very satisfied!

Extremely disappointed as I thought this backpack would be 100% cotton, it is not! False advertisement! Will be sending it back.
