Vera Bradley products are always high quality, and this butterfly print collection is made with recycled cotton fibers, which I appreciate! The design on the collection has a quilted sewn pattern and features colorful butterflies, about half different shades of purple, and the background is a really pretty light blue color. The cotton Is soft to the touch and decently thick. The inside lining on the whole collection has a dark navy blue background with little 3 leaf flower/leaf looking things that look almost drawn on. This design is perfect for younger girls and women alike in my opinion. The zippers on these are well made and don’t catch or break, so you should be able to use these for years and years! Plus, they all can easily be thrown in the washer if it gets dirty which I love! This medium sized makeup organizer bag is a pretty decent size. It’s small enough to still be able to throw in a regular sized purse, but still has plenty of room. The main body can easily fit all of the main things I would need makeup wise, and even has a clear PVC lining in the main bigger compartment so that if anything spills it’s easy to clean up. There is also a smaller zippered front pocket that is not lined with the PVC, but can still fit a couple lipsticks, and liners of various kinds. Super cute and functional!

Yes, this is smaller, but its for cosmetics, not large bottles For me, its fine... Looking forward to taking a trip with this in my carry-on!

I have a Vera Bradley large cosmetic bag, and while I love it for when I want all my cosmetics in one place, its too large for whats left over when I have to separate out my liquids and gels in a separate bag for TSA. The non-liquids swim in that bag. I figured that the next size down, this medium cosmetic bag, would be perfect for air travel when I separate my things into two bags. Unfortunately, this medium bag is dramatically smaller than the large. In fact, if I had the two side by side, I would think that I owned a large and a small, instead of a large and a medium. This one measures approximately 9 L x 6 H x 2 D. Despite my disappointment in the size, however, this cosmetic organizer is a great bag. (Ive included a photo to show the difference between the two sizes.) I love that the inside is lined with a clear vinyl that shows the quilted liner fabric -- it has a contrasting pattern -- while protecting it from spills and stains from within. It has a non-lined, zippered exterior pouch for quick access to dry cosmetics, hair clips, etc. This bag is both practical and feminine. I know from my older one that it will also be durable. Yes, its fabric, not nylon, so it might be prone to ripping, but the seams are solid and the quilting makes it tough. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I came late to the Vera Bradley party. I didn’t care about the fabric but they really have some fantastic travel products. Really clever ones, Iike a heat proof curling iron/ flat iron cover. This makeup bag isn’t the most clever but it’s easy to pack and is lined so I don’t worry about spills. Easy to wipe out. Easy to organize. Appreciate the recycled fabric. Seems well made and durable, like my other VB products have been. I know there’s a whole line in this fabric and it’s nice they offer a more muted and echo friendly option.

It’s a great bag but wayyyyy too small for me. I couldn’t even fit my foundation brush in it. Cute stuff - Vera’s great. Listing was misleading on size. And for THIRTY DOLLARS??? Yeah no thanks.
