Nice cosmetic bag. I love the plastic inside, perfect for makeup because you can just wipe it clean if it gets dirty.

Perfect size. Can fit all of your daily make-up needs. Inside has a washable liner. True black coloring. Easy to handle with the finger piece to carry. This is definitely a staple for your daily living needs.

I like this trapeze bag from Vera Bradley. It stands up nicely on any countertop with or without items in it due to its smartly designed larger bottom base, which makes filling it with cosmetics, toiletries, or setting it on a bed or countertop a snap! I really like the black and white floral pattern on the inside, which is protected with an easy wipe surface on the inside in the event of my always inevitable “Oops, I forgot to put the cap on that…”spills. (I can’t tell you how many bags over the years I have ruined due to the fact that they did not have a liner.) That won’t happen with this bag! The bag on the outside is black, keeping items organized neatly (even if you are a messy packer!) because of the non-see through exterior , but the inside is strategically designed so you can view items at a glance. Any fur, etc, (shedding cats LOL!) was easily removed from the exterior with a damp cloth. There is a very well-designed clear plastic pocket you can use to separate items…I have a travel brush, comb, and finishing brush that fits perfectly in the slip pocket. Love this because you can see at a glance what is in the pocket, and main compartment due to it being clear. I am using this for putting toiletries in for an upcoming trip, but you can easily use it for both makeup and toiletries because it is the perfect size for throwing in a purse or tote for everyday use. I like how it has a little thumb loop that you can conveniently grasp it from in your bag for quick touch ups. (It’s the little details that matter!) It zips up quickly and easily too! (In the photos I am showing all that I put in the bag, but as you can see I didn’t overpack it, because I am still planning my trip, and am still saving room for last minute items. I am also showing the large slip pocket, how you can expand it or push it back if you aren’t going to use the pocket, making it very versatile for any trip or use! The last picture shows the bag filled up, with plenty of room to spare!) It is also ideal for overpackers, because there’s lots of room to work with in this bag! (Guilty as charged!) The material is super soft, which surprised me because this is a part of their consciously crafted cotton line and I hadn’t really tried this before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. This product is used from materials created from recycled plastic bottles so this makes me feel good supporting companies and products that are working towards new solutions to help the environment! I am so pleased with this bag that I ordered the matching travel bag to go with it because I am so literally obsessed with this bag. I am very pleased with this Vera Bradley Trapeze Bag and hope you will be too. They just released some new patterns if colors aren’t your thing, so I will be definitely be checking those out too in the future! Happy and safe travels!

The outside of the bag is very soft but hardy cotton and the inside is lined with clear plastic to protect the classic Vera Bradley damask print designs. There is one flat, clear side pocket inside. The full plastic lining is definitely practical---Im sure Im not the only one whose shampoo likes to leak---but it does make the bag less flexible than I expected, and therefore it fits a bit less. I would say the size is perfect for a day or weekend trip, or as part of a toiletry bag set for a longer trip. In general, Ive been really impressed with Vera Bradleys recent-ish expansions outside of the aggressively floral handbag space and this is another excellent addition to the range. Its practical and stylish.
