I didnt know what to think when I heard that Victoria had recorded a CD but I decided to buy it anyway. I am really glad I did the CD is amazing. If you like pop and dance music then you should buy the CD. It has great songs that you wont get tired of listening to. I love to hear it when I am running errands in my car. If you like Victoria Beckham then you should also read her autobiography.

While currently Victoria is a mother of three sons & more of a celebrity, back in the latter half of 2001 she was a popstar. While she never found the commercial success this record deserved, it is a quite good pop record.

Victorias first solo cd is remarkable! She is the last of the original 5 Spice Girls to release a solo album. And perhaps, they saved the best for last! Highlights are Girlfriend, I Wish, and Whatchu Talkin Bout. All tracks are awesome and range from dance (Midnight Fantasy) to slow, loving ballads (Every Part Of Me written for Brooklyn Beckham Unconditional Love for husband David Beckham).

I was not a fan of Victoria Adams back then, but I gave her CD a try after watching the Not Such An Innocent Girl video, one of my all-time favorites... W, O, W... What a beautiful surprise! Not only has Victoria obviously gained confidence on the vocal part, she has also discovered herself as a very sensitive person throughout this album, much more simple, a little less posh, a little more heartfelt...

Victoria Beckham is the last of the Spice Girls to release her solo album offering several multi-genre tracks. After being the voice that no one ever heard in the worlds best selling group, Victoria finally unleashes an album that is superb, showing that she has probably one of the best voices out of all of the members from the Spice Girls. Its a sad lose that Virgin Records dropped her before letting her music reach the US. With this album, Victoria offers great ballads and an abundant load of great danceable, R&B influenced pop songs.

Poor Posh Spice. She cant seem to get a break. Whether it be defending herself against tabloid rumors or defending her familys privacy, she cant seem to win. Her record company doesnt seem keen on doing her any favors either. In their far from infinite wisdom, the execs thought they would stage a singles battle of the pop princesses between Beckham and UK chart icon Kylie Minogue with disastrous results for Beckham.Not only was she trounced thoroughly on the singles front, but this project arrived the same day as Minogues FEVER, which again soundly obliterated Beckham(and the rest)on its way to Number One. Which is all quite sad considering that Beckham has delivered a thoroughly engaging album, something that has surprised no one more than me. Lets start with the singing, which has improved by leaps and bounds since the Spices first record--though she may never possess the greatest range, you have to admit that her vocals go down far smoother than the harsh, accent-ravaged singing of either of the Mels or even ex-Spice Geri Halliwell. As for the songs, well there are some definite strong moments here--first single Not Such An Innocent Girl, though dismissed on the charts quite briskly, is far from the travesty everybody is proclaiming it to be. Among the stronger cuts, youve got the garage-styled Midnight Fantasy,the electronica-spiked ballad I.O.U., and the pop-funk of No Trix, No Games. While there are some downturns--Girlfriend and I Wish are both third-rate Destinys Child rip-offs--they make only a small ripple in an otherwise surprisingly solid debut.

This was actually quite a good album, not that I doubted Victorias abilities, but I hadnt gotten to hear enough of her before to make any accurate pre-judgements. Its too bad it wasnt released here in the U.S, but considering the un-popularity of the Spice Girls over here, I dont know if it would necessarily do that well.

Before I heard this I thought Melanie Cs Northern Star was the best solo Spice Girl album BUT after I bought this last year I have listened to it non stop, this was hugely underrated this album as its so top quality production!

Ok so she can sing but when I listened to this album on a plane journey (because there was nothing else) I enjoyed the first few tracks but after the 3rd track it gets boring and starts getting annoying because there isnt anything new or experimental in tracks. You feel as if youve heard the melody off other R&B/Pop Artists, I suggest you buy this if youre a Spice girls Fan

Victoria Beckham has made quite possibly the best euro-pop album ever. Regardless of if youre a spice girl fan or not, the catchy songs included on her debut album will be stuck in your head for weeks to come.
