ViewSonic PX701-4K 4K UHD 3200 Lumens 240Hz 4.2ms Home Theater Projector with HDR, Auto Keystone, Dual HDMI, Sports and Netflix Streaming with Dongle on up to 300 Screen

The USB-C on this projector is AMAZING. you plug the projector into the wall and then with a single cable connect your laptop to send audio/video and charge the laptop. Exactly what youd want (no dongles or thick HDMI cables to haul around). Unfortunately, this monitor has 2 flaws, one of which is completely fatal if you care about clean images: (1) The colors/contrast on this projector are processed heavily (presumably for sports and gaming). As a result, you cannot get a high-quality image if you want a realistic image. There is SUBSTANTIAL color banding right out of the box. They have no build-in mode that allows you to get normal color, so it appears they just assume that no user would actually want to faithfully product the colors of a photograph. After playing with various controls on the projector and using an i1Studio calibration device, I was able to get the image to a place that wasnt embarrassingly bad for showing photographs. For this reason alone, this projector is being returned. If you dont care about realistic images, this wont apply to you. (2) The screw out foot on the bottom is HORRIBLE. Fiddly to extend, insanely loose/wobbly, and too show to be of any use without books or other height adjustments. Total piece of junk that seriously undermines the perceived quality of the product compared to something like an Epson projector. I would also note that the keystoning correction isnt as simple as an Epson, but is easy enough to adjust.

I have an old Acer 1080p projector that gives a better picture especially for sports. I tried everything to make this look as good. 4k content didnt look 4k and there isnt an optical out. If youre using a non 4k AVR youre screwed with sound without the optical out.

Estamos de acuerdo quer no es lo mejor que he visto, es mi primer proyector pero ya tenia TV 4k y hdr y este ViewSonic pierde en los colores oscuros, se ven de un gris oscuro. Habría que configurar mejor tal vez sus parametros manualmente y no confiar en los predeterminados. De todas formas estoy muy contento con la compra, sin tener que gastarme miles de dolares para mi entretenimiento doméstico está genial. El tamaño de pantalla es ideal en una habitación de 3mts*3mts con una pantalla blanca mate. Sin dudas para empezar y no gastarte una fortuna es ideal. I upgraded my projector for this one as I wanted to be able to watch NHL games with more clarity and smoothness for the speed of the game. It will never match the sharpness of a TV but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how good a job it does. I am happily watching NHL games using this new projector.

Entry level, reasonably bright 4K projector with satisfactory sharpness, adequate color and blacks, for the average person. If you are looking for the utopian 4K projector that is both cheap and awesome then you are looking at the wrong product. I do like it better than the 1080p projector it is replacing which was a decent BenQ 1080p projector. The BenQ ANSI brightness was 2200. The ViewSonic True 4K UHD 3200 Lumens is 3200 obviously. What they actually light output is, Im not qualified to measure or say. That said, the ViewSonic is distinctly brighter. The colors and blacks may actually be worse than the BenQ but I cant measure that either and the increased brightness creates a much more appealing image so I dont really care. The 3200 ANSI lumens is not bright enough for use in our family room (no window shades) during the day but would be fine for evening use or in a basement. I did purchase this as factory refurbished from ViewSonic here on Amazon. On the plus side, it appears to work fine. On the negative side, it had clearly been used to the point where the lens was dusty, the unit had a few marks, and the remote was dirty looking on the backside. The smudgy dirtiness on the remote was a bit off putting. Id like to think that ViewSonic (or their designee refurb location) would at least use a wipe to clean it before repackaging and shipping off to the next customer. Given the use the unit appeared to have, I have to wonder how many hours were put on the unit before refurb. However, Im not too concerned. Given this is an entry level unit that was at a very attractive price point, Ill be happy to get 4 or 5 years out of it.

I already have a Ben-Q short-throw projector ... but wow, this ViewSonic redefines short throw. I can plug this into the laptop dock on my on my desk, and it projects a big screen image on the very wall that my desk sits against ... 2 feet away from the projector. This feels like the end of ever having to worry about whether your home theater is long enough to get a big screen image projected. That problem feels fully solved with this project. Its truly amazing. And the picture is fantastic, to say the least.

Der Beamer ist unfassbar laut, im Wohnzimmer nicht brauchbar. Natives 4K ist hier ein Produktversprechen, mehr aber auch nicht. Pixelshift, dass ist was hier den 1080p Beamer zu einem 4k Beamer macht. Von mir absolut keine Kaufempfehlung

Overall its a pretty good projector I cant complain. I do wish there were more functions and settings to play around with. Picture quality is good its nice and bright, even in the daylight. No issues playing Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc. so far its proven it doesnt lag and can get me a victory Royale. The speaker works great it gets loud enough its no surround sound but its crisp and clear. The price isnt bad either its worth the money
