I really like these jeans - the denim is soft, feels already broken in. The color is just right. The style is comfortable - I like the wider leg. BUT - I followed the size chart and these pants came about 2 sizes too big. Im very disappointed! Thats why I docked them 2 stars.

The fabric and artistry are excellent. This high-waisted style with conventional jeans attributes (button, zipper, pockets) is what you expect from jeans. This denim is full-thickness and of excellent quality; the stitching is perfect and will last. My thighs are too thin, and I need to take these in. The waistline tells me that I might have ordered a size 8, as a medium is 8-10. I should have known. The early 70s started fitted waistlines and wide bells. These pant legs are a bit wider than that, but they will look better after I take them in, if not incredible! I will put these into a hot-water wash, dry on high, and see a difference in the nice long hem. I will hopefully see a bit of shrinkage overall. I expect at least the length (though I am happy with that and to take a chance losing that fit in that regard). So, if you are worried that you will not like the wider fit, think about the halters in the early 70s and go from there. I will not wear a baggy blouse with baggy pants. I will look better after altering these larger-sized pants; then wear a crop-top, which might be a short camisole, and add a long cardigan. If the kimono or cardigan is very long, it will look great as an outfit. So as you can see, being built like me (apple shape, and I am 67-years-old) means I might need camouflage of the long length in the back, open in the front showing the waistline. This pair of denim jeans is a lovely style, great value for the price because of quality, a contemporary style, yet reminiscent of the old days. Enjoy! Enjoy!

I ordered the darker color, and loved them so much, that I went back and ordered the lighter one. They both fit perfectly. I ordered the size 8. I highly recommend these jeans!

A little looser fit than I expected. I normally wear a a size 14. And I shouldve gotten a size 12 instead. I expected a relaxed fit, with wide/straight leg. But I didnt expect them to be so loose on the waistline. Otherwise, there great jeans. And I absolutely love that they arent stretchy. And they appear to be well made. I may get a smaller size in the future, but Ill be keeping these. I like how comfy they are, considering they are jeans.

Waist is too small and definitely NOT high waisted. They are too long and I considered hemming them, but then I thought, “why should I have to hem them”! I’m sending the pants back, and I’m not happy about it.

Im 53 and normally a size 10. I got the 10 and they fit great. My first super wide leg jean, and I love them. So comfy!

I was alittle concerned that they would be to long. Because it says L 43 they must not be measuring the inseam. I am 56 and they are just a little long, wont be with 2 heels. The fit is great very comfortable I ordered a size 14 and when I reorder will probley get a size 12 as they have tons of stretch and I expect that they might get baggy after a few wears. I love the wide leg style because I have thick thighs so these make a nice long straight silhouette. The dark blue color seems colorfast and upon first wearing I dont notice any bleeding.

These--for me at least--fit very well and are comfortable. They appear well made, no loose strings or crooked seams or other obvious defects. The fabric is a medium weight denim, and a rich dark blue. They look good on me and I like them, and expect to wear them a good deal. I like the looseness of the legs, not bell-bottoms width but wide enough for comfort and a somewhat different look for jeans. Should go well with boots come winter. The length was fine for me and I am tall, normally wearing a 32 inseam. The waist was not too tight but was certainly not loose either--for me, really, just right. So I will see how these wear long term and how they wash. IF they fall apart or shrink a size in the wash, I will report back. But for now I am quite pleased with these jeans. PS I am adding this new information. I washed the jeans and line-dried them and they did not shrink nor fade. They are softer now, so I actually like them a tad better. PSS Just wanted to add that Ive been wearing and washing and enjoying these jeans since April and I like them better and better. They are holding up nicely, no fading or obvious wear and remain comfortable.
