Vivaplex, 12, Amber, 2 oz Glass Bottles, with Lids

I like the Vivaplex amber glass bottles very much. The bottles are thick, yet very lightweight. Like the Shaolin monks, I fill them with my homemade alcohol concoction to prevent bruises from forming. The 2oz size is perfect for carrying in my athletic bag or backpack and have it available for immediate use. The cap seals in the liquid very nicely...aka no leaks...however, whenever I remove the cap, the soft plastic lining always remain stuck on the bottle. Not a big deal, it comes right off with my fingernail.

Great for my homemade coconut extract and vanilla extract!

These arrived exactly as described. I was very pleased with the appearance and quality of these bottles. The lids had a good feel to them, and they have the rubber stopper like for use with essential oils. I used them for homemade extracts, and they worked perfectly for what I needed.

I purchased to fill with homemade vanilla. This size is great for gift giving to those who bake occasionally. For those who bake often the 4oz size maybe a better fit. The bottles are nice and have an even shade and thickness. However, the tops are not well made. The clear pieces of the tops, which seals the lid, separates from the top and one of the bottles leaked when it fell on its side. Improve the quality of the lids and this one will be a winner. Ooh, glass eye droppers that measures a teaspoon would be a great improvement.

These bottles were the perfect size for the Homemade vanilla gifts I made for Christmas this year.

I mix and store vitamin C serums in these bottles. They work quite well for my purposes.

I use them for homemade Vanilla. Vanilla can last for many years and I needed a jar that would hold up to the task. Love that they’re dark which also help in preserving my ingredients.

These are the ideal size for homemade extracts. The bottles are sturdy and the tops have the plastic insert. I haven’t experienced any problems with leaking so that’s a plus. I will purchase more for future projects.
