> 24 hourHnnn... it can be unnerving installing AC powered especially with the available wiring. Good thing from the manual that it doesnt matter which is which as long as they are attached, and not interconnected of course. Good thing Ill be using this stationary and away from water.

> 24 hourSome high speed fans sound like a jet engine taking off, this is more like the jet engine in idle mode. It isn’t silent, but not so loud that it would be a deal breaker. Moves A LOT of air, this would be great to keep a media cabinet, data cabinet or small closet cooled and airflow increased.

> 24 hourIt works good but it’s too loud. Sounds like a drone with its high pitched wine.

> 24 hourThe fan was used for a small ventilation project I had planned. It was easy to connect with exposed wires. I had stripped off a bit more of the casing and secured it to the provided switch plug with some electrical tape. Runs quiet given how powerful this little fan is. Connection and wiring never got hot even after running for hours. Im sure the bearing could be tuned a bit with some grease to make it run even quieter. TBD on those modifications when I do them. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourI purchased the 120mm x 38mm Axial Fan for my server rack, and while it has excellent airflow, I cannot overlook the noise it produces. The ball bearing design is supposed to reduce noise, but this fan is still louder than I would like. The fan is compatible with various voltage options, which is convenient, and the high airflow keeps my server rack and industrial cases cool. However, the noise level can be a distraction and may not be suitable for quieter environments. Overall, I give this product a 3 out of 5 stars because of its excellent airflow, but the noisy operation makes it hard to fully recommend.

> 24 hourI used this fan to make a cooler for a power supply to a computer. This little guy works great. Has good airflow and comes ready to use and install. Just place where needed, plug it in and turn on. It has been running (almost continually) for a couple months now and still going strong.

> 24 hourThe fan whine is louder than I anticipated, therefor I would use this in an enclosure that can reduce the fan noise. Also, the white connector that comes with the fan feels cheap. Its just a pressure fit. I would solder the ends of the fan cable to the included plug. There is plenty of cable that is connected to the fan motor to allow for multiple soldering. The volume of wind coming from the fan itself is very good and will remove heat from an enclosure very well. NOTE: Remember you have to size the fan to the size of the enclosure you will using.

> 24 hourOrdered this fan to replace the one in my arcade cabinet - this was the perfect fit, exact same size as my old one and runs on AC power which can be harder to find. Comes with a steel guard and an in-line switch which are nice features to have. Could be quieter, but it’s not intrusive if it’s out of direct sight.

> 24 hourThis fan works great for situations where you need to plug a fan with this size into the mains, and not wire it into a computer, etc. I have used it for cooling a lot of equipment that is prone to overheating, like my laptop and cameras in hot lab environments. The noise is not louder than a typical desktop fan of this size, but of course it is not completely silent either.
