Recommended by a friend after I had surgery to my wrist, this allows me to continue with my crafting. I have not tried it on leather but I have had great results on everything else: paper (multiple layers), card stock, & balsa wood.

I have only recently purchased this item and not used a lot yet. It punches well and being able to put holes basically wherever you want them is a bonus.

I have the original Crop-A-Dile and this is so much easier to use. Because it has a base it operates on a work top with no effort at all, even through the thickest of mount board and has made my bookbinding so much easier to do. I would recommend this upgrade to everyone who may be starting to have problems with their hands and who wishes to achieve a professional finish with their work.
