WEN 10423 3 x 2 x 1-Inch Steel-Hardened Precision 123 Blocks, Two Pack

These are called 1, 2, 3 blocks for everything, why? Well after much research, they are exactly 1 X 2 X 3 (inches) and perfectly dimensioned. They can be used together and you can buy them with screws to attach (I did not) but thats not what I got them for, every craft I do needs 1,2,3 inches, plus you need weight to hold down the cloth or material and sometimes you need a perfect 90 degree corner, these blocks are so handy that Im not sure why I didnt purchase them like 20 years ago. They come in a set and are coated in Machine oil so be for warned use gloves to clean them. Bonus they are cool to look at but honestly you could use them for a pencil holder. Great addition to Toolkits or Hobbies.

I finally decided to buy a set of 1-2-3 blocks and now I cant imagine how I lived without them for so long! Super useful for both metal and wood working. They are great for quick setup of table saw and band saw blades to make sure they are perpendicular to the table. They work great as spacers for indexing cuts and even work as parallels when machining metal. If you dont require that extra 0.0001 tolerance these blocks are just as effective as blocks costing 30x more.

Save your money and find a better set. Bad drilling, bad grinding, everything was manuactured sloppy.

No specification for accuracy provided in listing. After knocking down any burrs with a set of precision ground flat stones dimensions as measured by tenths micrometers were within 3 tenths, over on the 1 side and under on the 2 and 3 inch sides. Not bad for the price.

Although these are designed with a machine shop in mind, they are very handy in the wood shop as well. These blocks are very precise and give you a quick way to measure 1, 2, or 3 inches frequently and precisely. Because these come in a set of 2, 4,5, & 6 inches is also possible. Blocks are great to marking cut points on a board. Also, very handy to ensure scroll saw and table saw blades are at a right angle. I was dubious about these at first, but now I cannot imagine my wood shop without them.

1-2-3 blocks are about precision, you get three true faces of precise dimensions and angle... usually they would cost you over 50$... but here... at this price, I have zero complaints... +/- 0.001mm maximum deviation on each side as verified by multiple precision calipers I have; that is.. one micron. I think this is more than acceptable for 99% of projects a home engineer can have. So Wen, thank you to give us access to this for this price. If I was very picky, I would only say that the corners are not perfectly deburred, at the corner of the rectangle, the edges are not perfect and curve .. e.g. the chamfer created by the deburring process is not equal in width along the whole length but gets wider at the ends, near the vertex of the cuboid/rectangular prism. This doesnt affect the overall use, so I am very happy... unless you need to align at this precision, but then youd be using some metrology quality blocks not this haha. Ok, so to everyone who has no blocks but uses a saw, get yourself a pair! Thanks again

I use these to calibrate my calipers and for use with my Snapmaker A350. Only thing I disliked was the fact that they arrived DRENCHED in oil, so much to the point where the parcel was soaking wet from the inside out with what smelled like WD-40. Nothing some shop towels I had couldnt fix, but it was very annoying to clean up.

These blocks are a great value, dimensions are as specified. Only downfall is they cannot be bolted together like some of the more expensive blocks.
