I got this to cut the entrance chamfer into the Teflon tube for my Prusa 3D printer. It is sharp and cute the Teflon nicely just twisting it by hand. Rather a specialized use, but it worked well for it.

Heavy duty, thick material for long lasting use! Very happy with product.

This is my favorite vbit. The third flute really changes the quality of cut in mdf. Small details don’t sheer off and the bit is very quiet compared to the other V bits I tried. The photo with “your orders” and the review section is wrong. You get the more compact bit seen in the listing photos.

Dont use the photo for this item to decide if this is the right bit... the photo is incorrect! I also found that photos on the manufacturers website were also misleading, but the descriptions are correct. The Whiteside #1541 is a solid carbide 60° V-groove bit that is 1/4 in diameter, has a 1/4 shank, and a 3-flute cutting point. I purchased this bit to use in router-carving wood signs, and it performs exceptionally well in this role. The tool is very sharp and has maintained its edge well through use. Great value for the money!

This bit is great. Used it for 2 plus months daily in my CNC for hours at a time on clear pine. Worked like new everyday. Lasted VERY long. Just bought a Spe Tool it lasted literally 2 days on the same materials. Whiteside is the best.

Three flutes are great. Very smooth insertion with a plunge router and smooth sides to the cavity. A longer shaft would be nice for use in a plunge router making signs. Im using mine in a Bosch colt with plunge base. Would buy again.

Quality bit! Sharp is an understatement. Be careful removing the cover from the bit or ull see just how sharp. Have run this bit for over 20 hrs now and still as sharp as it was from the package.
