Whiteside Router Bits RD1600 Standard Spiral Bit with Down Cut Solid Carbide 1/8-Inch Cutting Diameter and 1/2-Inch Cutting Length

We use a lot of Whiteside bits. Reminder that the cut depth on these is only one inch. Typically we use 1.5 cut depth but these work great for most cuts.

Currently using this on my X-Carve CNC with a Bosch palm router and Im about to buy another! So far Im 15 large projects in (roughly 18 hours worth of cut time), and the bit is still cutting nice, clean lines. Only thing Ive noticed is that the tip of the bit is starting to show some discoloration due to high-heat. Nothing a little sharpening cant fix. Would highly recommend this bit

I have several Whiteside router bits and needed a 1/8 bit for some inlays. I read several reviews where people using other brands of bits had them break easily. This bit cut into walnut and birch with no problem. I think Whiteside bits are some of the best router bits you can buy.

Whiteside is my goto. These do not disappoint.

I use these bits for professional level inlay work. The carbide is delicate because of the small diameter of the blade. Go slow, and take several passes to achieve the final depth of cut. If you push the blade too hard too fast it can break, but that’s the nature of carbide.
