Im still getting the hang of substituting this for a Prussic Knot. It is extremely easy to adjust compared to using a Blakes Hitch or the Prussic Knot.

Im 260lbs and had no issues using or trusting it

Using a lineman rope? Just buy this you won’t regret it. Little more than I wanted to spend but loved the ease of use I bought one for my son as well

Bought two of these for my boyfriend and he loves them! Uses them for saddle hunting..says it makes climbing so much easier.

Used this as a redundant safety device in conjunction with prusik knot on safety line for tree stand . Small and great quality.

I use 2 of these in my climbing system, they work great! Way better and faster than a prussic. At first, I did not trust these to support my weight, especially in a small fall. After some use, I now trust these ascenders on my 11mm predator rope each time I hunt. The teeth have not worn my rope yet after several months of use.
