Willow Tree Hero, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

Given as a gift to family member after the loss of our father and his military service

My son serves in the Navy. This Willow Tree figurine is very special to me as a parent of a child serving all of the citizens of the country. This piece is taller than most of the pieces. I was surprised by this, but I also did not pay attention to the size when I ordered it. I looks great in my curio cabinet.

Just the right touch for a daughter remembering her veteran father.

I was happy to find this available through an online seller. The Hero Figurine available at Hallmark today has a greenish flag. Other buyers have commented about this. The figurine I purchased in 2007 in remembrance of my father had a blue flag and thats what I wanted to give to my dear friend in remembrance of her husband. The cost was about the same as in the Hallmark stores. The issue was the color of the flag, so thanks to the seller.

I bought this for a co-worker who lost her dad. He used to serve in the US Air Force. She misses him dearly, and this was just perfect! She cried, actually, when she opened my gift. It came well packaged, easy handling (no breaks) and shipped fast. Great product. Willow Tree Figurines are so personal. Very beautiful.
