It isnt every day that one purchases an umbrella - especially when living in the desert. But I did want an umbrella, and having had more than my share of the collapsible, fit-in-your tote variety, I wanted a REAL umbrella, with a wide canopy, one very sturdy and able to withstand high winds and gusts, and strangely, one with a convenient handle. Id been to London/UK and crossed my fingers to see if amazon had a British made umbrella with the features noted above, and Voila!! I found the Collar and Cuffs umbrella with ALL the features I was wanting. It arrived with lightning speed, with a lovely, thoughtful note vowing excellent customer service. Though Ive not yet had opportunity to use the umbrella, I actually purchased TWO umbrellas as gifts for family. My husband helps people to and from the church building in inclement weather, and my beloved Sister lives in upstate New York where it rains frequently and heavily and she typically arrives at her office rather damp on such days. As the beloved sister and I are rather mad Anglophiles, I KNOW she will be tickled pink to use this umbrella after she receives it at Christmas. I told friends of the purchase, and it was so interesting that all three said they wanted the link to amazon so they could buy the umbrella as well. At least one has already purchased the same umbrella herself. So were all quite pleased with this lovely umbrella and it will be well used as occasions warrant. Thank you, COLLAR and CUFFS!!

This umbrella is totally awesome, excellently made, quality at its best. Not sure it would stand up to a tornado (joke), but bring on the storms!!

My daughter requested this umbrella for a birthday gift, and she was so happy when she opened the box. We were all impressed with the quality & craftmenship of the umbrella. I am also impressed with the company Collar and Cuffs. The item was so carefully packaged, arrived promptly & in perfect condition. I would certainly order from them again.

It is sized well with an acceptable trade off in weight and stiffness. The wind gap is functional. The point cap covering the tip quickly fell apart and defeats the primary usefulness of a full length cane umbrella however. Carbon fiber is difficult to bond and they have not figured this out on this product.

Umbrella is similar to the doorman umbrellas of years ago..nicely made with a crook handle that can hang on your wrist! I shopped for it in several stores but the only thing I could find is a folding one which wasnt what he wanted. It was for a birthday gift and my husband loves it!
