Bought this and the label broke after 1 trip. Expected better quality from samsonite.

The outside surface of both suitcases were peeling as if they’d had a full body sunburn and were shedding damaged layers. It was quite strange for Samsonite’s well-respect brand. I went on to purchase a different Samsonite style we love even better.

I travel occasionally and the wheel got busted off after only a few uses. Otherwise the design and interior were nice.

These are the best suitcases I have ever owned. Now my daughter and two sons have these as well. Were sold!

It looks heavy, but is actually light. I think I got a defective strap on the inside. By the time I noticed, it was too late to return it because we were on our way to Japan.

I read many reviews about this luggage before purchasing for our family trip to Europe in July. The biggest complaints where the luggage gets scratched easy and the zippers broke. Taking all this into consideration - I bought the luggage and also bought a set of luggage straps - for the dual purposes of having extra security should the zipper fail and also making it very easy to spot the luggage. There were NO issues with the zippers whatsoever but I believe the straps are pretty key and would highly recommend them. The luggage is solid and we packed many delicate and breakable items which all came home safely. The luggage will get scratched - so if you want perfect looking luggage this is not for you. But if you want luggage that offers a much higher level of protection and functionality than standard flexible luggage, this is the right choice by a mile!!!!
