WISEBOT Mini Smart Plugs, Alexa and Google Home Compatible, Surge Protection, Timer, ETL FCC Listed, 4-Pack

Waste of time purchased another brand that worked perfectly with Alexa without having to install an additional 3rd party evasive application on my phone that required sign up and location services to China.

I received my 4 WP3 smart plugs and attempted to pair them. I first used the automatic pairing, but the process timed out before the pairing was successful. I then tried to add them manually with similar result. I googled the problem (apparently its not uncommon). The FAQ said to test my internet speed which I did and it was found to be acceptable. I was instructed to reset the device by pressing the on/off button for 10 seconds to make sure the light turned green. I pressed it for 10, 20 and 30 seconds and couldnt get it to turn green. I have attempted to contact customer service. The phone lines are only open Mon-Fri from 9-5 (very convenient for the customer!). I have sent an email outlining the issue. If I do not receive a response by the next business day, I will be returning the product as defective. This is pretty abysmal performance for something out of the box.

Easy to set up with Smartlife app and program.

I returned these. You are required to download an additional app which was a bit confusing. Even though it said they will work with Alexa, I couldnt get them configured.

I bought this plug because a plug I previously bought, which worked with Smart Life, was no longer unavailable. The Amazon write-up stated that this plug works with Smart Life and it does! The installation booklet that comes with the plug doesnt mention Smart Life, but I tried it anyway. Worked fine the first time!

I tried multiple times to link with my WiFi system. This device wouldn’t link.

Set up was fine but the product frequently disconnects from the Wi-Fi and cannot be used as smart switch; needs restart. Used for about 3 weeks before giving up and returning it

Works particularly well with the Swamp cooler in my home that only functions when plugged in, ( on/off switch broken ), also allows for automation so I can just schedule to come on before I get home. Little pricey for an individual unit, I shouldve opted for a multi-pack.

It works as advertised.

My living room lights are synced to Alexa using the smart plug. I can say Living Room off and on and they go out or on using the plugs.
