These pinch guards are just what we needed to prevent our daughter from slamming doors shut and, more importantly, from slamming her fingers in a door. The product itself is simple: a slightly flexible c-shaped piece of white foam which you simply attach to the edge of a door you dont want slammed shut. It pinches the door edge and holds itself in place, so you can attach it anywhere along the top or side of the door (but of course if you attach it low on the door your little one may just pull it off). They are easy to place, remove, and reposition, and they do NOT leave any sort of mark or residue on your door. NOTE: Where you place these on your doors is important. They will prevent a door from closing regardless of where you place them on the door, preventing fingers from being pinched on the handle/knob edge of the door. But if you are worried about fingers getting pinched on the hinge side of the door (which would probably cause a fractured finger), you would need to place these on the top of the door close enough to the hinges to prevent the door from closing very much at all. For the door of our daughters bedroom this is a very real possibility, so we have to position these pinch guards accordingly.

Recently I noticed that my toddler started closing door while playing with her little sister.I was so scared in case if Her fingers get pinched in door or what will I do if something happen to her and than I tried to search something which can prevent these kind of accidents and I found whittle finger pinch guard. This product is amazing you can remove if you want sometime and put it back on your door very easily. I put it on every room door in my house. I will definitely recommend this to all parents and it will definitely make your life easier and safe n secure for your little ones. Thankyou wittle finger for this amazing product.

This works well for use case it was intended. Good if you have young kids who like to open and close doors and are not careful. Use them on a traditional door either on the door knob side so they cant close the door or in-between the door and the hinge. Also a good use is on closets. You can stretch this to go across two closet sliding doors and if you have a shelf inside the closet the doors will stop when they try to open the door as the shelf will block both closet doors from opening. Worked well on the first set; so we bought a second set.

I have twin toddlers who think its funny to play with doors. More than once, this game has ended in crying, and one time it required a visit to the pediatricians office to confirm that a finger hadnt been broken. I finally mustered the wherewithal to order these things and they have been AWESOME. They stay in place, are super sturdy, dont damage the doors or frames, and make it impossible for my children to injure themselves with the door. They come 4 to a pack and are worth every penny! HIGHLY recommend.

We use these to keep our cats from being inadvertently trapped in bedrooms or the cellar, and for keeping bedroom doors from slamming shut on windy nights. They slide on over the edge of the door, dont leave a mark on door or frame, and are easy to remove.

Our kids arent quite old enough to be slamming doors yet but our oldest likes to close doors that shouldnt be closed and/or lock himself in rooms; these are a perfect fix for that. Our dog is not very happy when she cant get to her water because our son has closed the laundry room door. Likewise, our son isnt very happy when he finds himself shut in his bedroom or shut out of a room where his toys are. At the stage our kids are at, our main purpose for them is to simply keep doors from getting closed. These are such an easy on and off application too, very non-invasive. They hang perfectly over our doorknobs too so we put them there when they arent needed.

I ordered this because my son keeps slamming doors. I will be purchasing more. This prevent him from doing so and he can’t reach it if he wanted to take it out.

I have to laugh that Im posting a review for these, but they are too good not to comment. I needed something to not only keep my doors from slamming shut with the wind, but also that would ensure my one year old didnt slam his fingers as he loves swinging the doors. I was just using a traditional door stopper until my little crawler started taking those out...so, I found this product and Im never going back! When the wind tries slamming the door, this little piece perfectly prevents that from happening. Same when my little one is trying to slam the door! The best part is I dont have to bend down while carrying him to take them on/off - swiftly and with one hand, it can be done. Silly to think this little product warrants such a good review, but Im super impressed.

these are a life saver for little fingers and tantrums! No more slamming doors or smashing fingers in the door. Definitely the cheapest option to prevent tiny smooshed fingers.

I got these for when we are out for long periods of time to ensure that the pets for accidentally close a bathroom or bedroom door and get “trapped” without food or water. Discreet color. Soft design (no damage to door or door jam) easy to take on and off.
